Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

When I arrived at the hotel the reception desk had 3 members of staff, one was on the phone and the other two were chatting. I stood there for 10 minutes and no one bothered to check me in. After 10 minutes 2x chatting staff just left reception desk. Then I asked the receptionist if someone would check me in, she was all stressed as her system did not work, then another receptionist came and started taking people who stood behind me so I spent 30 minutes on check in waiting to be checked in.

At breakfast,the staff did not explain exactly what was the procedure for it. They also did not mentioned our options they were expecting us to know what was on. There were no plates either or cutlery. Also for our cold option, for a family of 3 we received ONE tiny bottle of water (250ml) a small banana, a muffin and a cereal bar, for 250 pounds a night we were expecting a bit more.
The checking in was very smooth and the room very clean, my daughter's bed was already done and ready to be used, very useful after our long flight.

We decided to eat at the hotel. To order the meal we had to queue at the bar which was fine but we must have waited 20/25 minutes before someone came to serve us. The dessert had been micro waved too long and was hard. Staff seemed to be just a little disorganised.
The room was comfortable as was the bed. There was a breakfast for each person in the room - nice touch for these like ourselves catching a 6am flight.

Sofa bed wasn’t made up. Service was very slow at bar/restuarant. Supposed to be a breakfast bag in the room but there wasn’t.

Had a breakfast bag in the room which was ideal as we had an early morning flight to catch. Kids enjoyed watching the planes coming in and taking off from the airport.

Taking a £50 deposit for room. Room bathroom door doubled as a door for wardrobe ,creaked and was poor standard. Curtains were lace type so didn't keep out light. Continental breakfast left in room the night before.

Unfortunately there was a problem with the hot water but that was just bad luck.
Location excellent for airport. Unfortunately due to renovations to dining area the food service appeared limited however the food we had was lovely and staff very helpful.

We were a little disappointed that we couldn't have a breakfast in the morning due to repair works.
We always stay here when flying from John Lennon airport, it is a very nice hotel.

The breakfast was not provided and they mentioned a reason and gave us packed item for two people only when we booked for 2 adult and 1 kid with age. The rates should have been reduced when they know breakfast is not available. They didn’t but they provided something which won’t match the rate they charged us

Would have being nice if we were told there about the problem with breakfast and only found out when we got to our room to be told what we have continental breakfast in our room or we can have a breakfast bap from the reception as the as there is repairs going on in the dining room if I was told this before hand I would have booked a different hotel
