Mattress edge broken down by years of people sitting on it but the rest actually very comfortable and undamaged. 24/7 snacks and bar expensive even by London standards.

Location perfect - buses outside the door, tube and trains five minutes away, twenty minute walk to Trafalgar Square. The room had two good sized queen beds, a very nice shower room, small desk, and effective heating / cooling. No noise from the road outside. A very good night's sleep. Would book again.

I was told when I checked out that the £30 deposit would be put back on to my card, I'm disappointed that it hasn't hapoed yet!!

The location, very, very good for moving around London, underground/main train stations just down the road. Hotel lovely.

Only one thing - there was a leak from the washbasin tap in the bathroom which made the counter wet and then eventually flowed down onto the bathroom floor whenever the washbasin tap was used. We were surprised that the cleaners hadn't reported it to maintenance.

Excellent location, very friendly, helpful staff, both at Reception on arrival and departure and at breakfast, very comfortable room.

The hotel did not provide a free adapter to use on the wall sockets. I had to buy two of them. One I bought at an extreme inflated price from the hotel shop, the other at a more reasonable price but probably still too high. The hotel also wanted 30 pounds in cash 'in case I used drinks'?? But there was no minibar in the room.

Room was clean, checkin went smooth, breakfast was excellent.

Couldn’t really open the curtains as I had a room that looked directly into someone else’s which made the room a little dark. Someone has to have those ones though.

Feel we were overcharged. When we reminded at the room we’d booked in advance we could’ve had it for over £100 cheaper on the day. Staff didn’t really seem interested. Breakfast was chaotic with staff getting in the way of the diners.

The hotel was comfortable, and the room was clean. Breakfast was varied, and the staff were polite. Special thanks to Kay ( chef), who bought fresh food directly over to our table, when she saw us waiting for replenished food, she really went that extra mile. Would definitely stay again

The bed was not the most comfortable (named the crunchy bed by my husband), the drain smell from the shower was unpleasant and although breakfast had plenty of variety the cooked breakfast items were barley warm, such a shame as quality was good.

The location close to Waterloo station was a bonus, which gave us easy access to tubes and busses around the city. Ideal base for a one night stay. Room as expected, clean and breakfast had a good range and variety.

As someone who travels the world for pleasure and uses a lot of hotels my criticism is NOT aimed at this hotel. Its a criticism of my Capital City - London. My heritage is Cockney. I love London. But the prices since Covid have become insane ( as have Theatre Prices ). Young families are being price out of their own Capital and its History.

Pleased that our room was ready even though we arrived a good hour before Check In time. Location is very convenient for Waterloo Underground and only 1 mile (£6 in Black Cab) to The Lyceum for Lion King show. London Eye & SeaLife is also only 1 mile away. Hotel is up to the standard one expects when paying top £/$ London prices.

　One of the mattresses in the twin room was badly deformed and my wife could not sleep. It is recommended to check the equipment every time the room is cleaned, and replace the equipment that may affect the guest experience in time.

For some reason we had an accessible room so shower, loo etc geared to that. Also looked out on a wall 2 feet away. But we only stayed one night so it didn't really matter just makes it harder to assess facilities.

Our meal in the evening was awful, we did speak to the two staff in the restaurant about our concerns, although very polite , did not address the issue. Once back in the lounge we asked several times to speak to someone, but no one came. We will come & stay in the hotel but certainly will not eat in the restaurant
