There was a lot of stairs which can put some people off.

No lift but I wouldn't expect one in a building of this age & location. The staff did offer to assist with luggage.

Great value for money with comfortable rooms and friendly & accommodating staff. The continental breakfast on offer was also good value at £10. The location is also very convenient being close to Victoria Station.

Very bad, practically inexistent, WiFi in the room (3d floor) No lift (fine if no heavy luggage) but can be an issue for elderly or travelers with small children

The view was not a deluxe room view (it was a basement room that looked out onto steps and the bins!) The room smelled of the drains from time to time. The breakfast selection was ok but not great. Could hear a lot of noise.

The room and hotel were decorated beautifully. Nice size bed. Staff were pleasant on reception and location was perfect for tube and coach station.

Less than 10 minute walk from Victoria so it’s close to the station, theatre and other bits but in its it right there, meaning it’s quite and friendly.

the sagging mattress is horrible though…as if I was lying in the shape of previous person there, it’s not easy to fall asleep.

One of my family members thought reaching the fourth floor without a lift was a bit tough. I didn't mind! But maybe the hotel should warn people there are no lifts.

The rooms were clean and beautiful. I had an amazing view of Big Ben, the London Eye and other landmarks from my window.

The bathroom although looked very clean, smelt horrible. Unsure if it was the drains or damp, there was very little ventilation and the extractor fan didn’t seem to work, but the smell from the bathroom made it hard to go in there.

A couple of things that could have been improved, 1 the cups are so small for tea and coffee making. 2 There are two towels provided per person. The main or larger size towels were also very small and the smaller one only a hand towel. I would suggest replacing both towels with 1 large towel for each guest would be more suitable. I would also suggest the use of coat hokks on the back of the door as there was only a small wardrobe with 4 or 5 fixed hangers and nowhere else to hang coats Again as other people have said it is central London space is a premium so wasnt expecting lots of square space.

Location was very good for us as we had booked Wicled the musical only 10 min walk away. Also for general sightseeing too a great area to be based in. We had a large double and whilst the size of the room was probably a standard double or even compared to a house a large single, the cleanliness was fantastic and we had a great large shower.
