We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

PortugalThe bathroom shower is a little impractical as the water does tend to splatter a lot (regardless of shower head angle)onto the rest of the bathroom floor making it and the bath mat sodden. The floor sponge/blade cleaner, that could help clean up, needs replacing along with the floor mat. A solution ought to be found to make showering practical. The carpets on the entrance stairway could do with deep cleaning as could he carpet as you enter the apartment
We have stayed at HH on a number of occasions and it was the first time for us to stay in Apt 5.The layout of all the HH apartments is excellent. The host, Tony, responds well to any question or requests and was readily available throughout our stay.

the property was just what we needed for our family with a dog. the bedrooms were a good size and the beds clean and comfortable. the kitchen had everything you needed and it was well positioned looking over the lounge area but separated by glass the dining lounge area was well decorated and the sofas and dining chairs comfortable. the large tv was a real treat . the courtyard garden was perfect for the dog.lounge with a large outdoor dining area perfect for alfresco dining. it was well decorated with outside lights making it fun for entertainers

CanadaIt would have been nice to have some coffee/milk in the house, and we always like dishcloths for dishes rather than scrubby pads. We were missing a few glasses, and the shower had lower water pressure than is ideal, but Tony quickly fixed the shower as best he could. We had a small issue with the lockbox (there was more than one) and we had initially expected to be met at the property, but we got in and all was well.
Excellent location in the centre of Harpenden, but not noisy. We heard people in the other apartments occasionally but it was never disturbing. Apartment 4 is well situated on the first floor, with some stairs. The kitchen was well equipped. It was warm, and we could control the heating. It was lovely to have 2 bedrooms and we found the beds very comfortable. It was ideal for a stay while visiting family. We have been visiting Harpenden for 60 years and this was absolutely ideal now that our relatives can no longer accommodate us. We will use it again if we are ever there for another long stay. Tony was a lovely guy and very responsive.

Tony was extremely helpful and friendly. Nothing was any trouble to him. Thank you Tony. Knowing Harpenden as we do, having family there, made the visit all the more special.

It's all about details. After check in, host had left a bottle of wine in the kitchen as a welcome gift. I was also very pleased to find hair drier and iron options.

United KingdomIt was apt 5 and unless you’re 5ft 6in or smaller the ceilings are too low, it made things very awkward. The bathroom is not very good at all, constantly soaking the rest of the bathroom when you had a shower because of the layout. It was not cleaned at all well. Cobwebs and dust and most disgusting of all hair in the shower. I would not expect this from the pictures or price.

United States of Americathe flat could use a deep cleaning - dusty and lots of cobwebs. the couch was dirty and uncomfortable - not like the posted photos. way too many decorations on every window ledge, etc - always needed moving to open windows. also, there was no mention of very noisy construction supply company next door - they beginning about 7 am M-F
the flat is located so near the main part of town. parking was easy and always available. neighbors in building were quiet.
