Was very disappointed with facilities, It was very basic overpriced for what was really a YMCA hostel , no comforts no tv or kettle for making a morning drink for nearly 100 pounds a night expected a lot more ,there was food and a bar online but nothing was open

The room, whilst great for what we needed, wasn't as clean as it could have been. There was dust under the mattresses on the bunk beds, and I dropped something behind the radiator, and when I looked, it was clear that they had not been cleaned for a good while. Also, the fans that were in the room were also covered in dust. There was also a water bottle that had been left I guess but the previous guests with no lid on that was hidden behind the curtain of the bottom bunk so when we pulled the curtain across it spilt everywhere. The quilt cover on the double bed was also stained with what looked like nail varnish, which I appreciate will not be able to be washed out but really shouldn't use that bedding again. The shower and hot tap when running hot water did have a smell that wasn't very pleasant but do appreciate it is a very old building so this is a factor. It was overall good, but just little things like the dust should be paid extra attention

The location for our stay was perfect. We came to Liverpool for the theatre and was a 10-12 minute walk from the train station and theatre and then the same again to get to the shops in the opposite direction. Staff were very friendly, and the room suited our needs for an overnight stay. The beds were comfy and bathroom clean. I didn't see a bar or restaurant open as pictured, but I can't say I was looking particularly either. There is a lift that is in use but is small. We did fit 3 people in, but if you had cases, you might need multiple trips. It's just because of the age of the building, though. Overall, it was a good stay that met our needs, and I would stay again

The rooms are functional but need updating,the room lacked a TV which my wife was hoping for,Instead of curtains,blinds would be more suitable as the property is overlooked

The hotel is in an ideal loacation for exploring the city,there are plenty of places to eat and drink and it was a short walk to The Philarmonic Hall.The bed was comfortable and the room clean and tidy and USB ports were a bonus

Hard to get use to sharing others in the room. Not sure there were safe about if your bag or belongings were taking.

Although the cushions on the bed look great in reality there were a couple of stains here and there and seemed unlikely that they’d been cleaned so we just chucked them aside. (The pillows and bed sheets were spotless though) some corners of the floor were a bit dirty and there was a hair or two and dirt in the corners of the bathroom. For me it was perfect, because everywhere that I needed to go or come in contact with was well cleaned, but it may not have been clean enough for someone more picky.

It was pleasant for a hostel and had nice decor downstairs and the room was really good too for the price. The bedroom was small but the bathroom was quite big and had all of the things you would need, plenty of towels, plenty of toilet paper and tissues and shower gel, hand soap. Etc. The lamps by the side of the bed were also nice and cozy and it was nice to have a full length mirror. There were a lot of decorative cushions on the bed which makes it look really cozy. The location was great and the bed was plenty big enough for two and comfy enough. We had a good stay and would stay at selina again.

There is actually nothing wrong with it as long as you understand it's basic but fine.

Good value for money and location is very central and staff are sound and it's clean.

The kitchen and the fridge were so dirty, that I had to throw my food away after I stored for one day. The furniture was sticking from the dry grease. I complained at the reception but nothing happened, I hope after this review something will change in the future,

Bathrooms not very clean, hot water difficult to get. Room was cold, radiator not working. Wifi didn't work in room.

The bed was surprisingly comfortable. Comforter, sheets, and pillow provided. Thankfully, there was an elevator.

Walls are paper thin. Never slept. Could here everything in the halls. Some idiot was knocking on another room door for about 3 hours. There was also a damp smell in the room. The curtains were 2 small for the window

The heater doesn't work properly, they do have a timer for the heaters, but when was on, the room was still EXTRA COLD. The size of the room was too small.
