We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomDidn't realise there was a parking fee. Advised if i had booked through the hotel direct the rates would have been lower and no parking fee. Dinner was terrible. Surcharge for steak which was dry and tough. Fish was overdone. Renovations carried out but not advised on reception when checking in. No hot water one afternoon due to renovations. No offer of a partial refund for this either

Very close to the beach and BIC good value for money on rooms! Very clean and staff were very friendly and accommodating! Very pleased with our stay here!

United KingdomThe fire alarm going off 4 times, Upstairs guests sounding like they were doing wrestling moves off their bed until 4am and Then building work going on in the room below us. Sounded like wallpaper scraping and banging around from 8am on a Sunday morning.

United KingdomThe parking area was tight, limited in number of spaces and it was frustrating to have to pay £14 to park on top of the cost of the room. The shower in our room was poor and difficult to get a reasonable temperature for the water. The bed was a small double and the mattress was bouncy. Felt unstable on the edge of the mattress and likely to fall off.
The staff were very professional and clearly well trained.

United KingdomThe cold tap on the basin in room 308 did not turn on at all. We did advise of this before 6pm and were told it was working okay after 6.50pm. Husband tried again and it still would not turn on. We were also charged a supplement for a cheese plate for sweet but my husband ordered the blueberry cheesecake. Due to time if an event I was attending we did not say anything at that time.

United KingdomThe comfort rooms need modernising. The shower over the bath was very poor, with little pressure and it took five minutes before any hot water came out. Lots of tea and coffee sachets but hardly any milks! I appreciate you can ask for extras but it is a nuisance. It is unusual to still have a double bed in a room, not a problem for us, but most people are used to king size now. We were aware of this when booking. The TV was very small. The drinks in the bar are rather dear.
The position of this hotel is ideal for Bournemouth Town centre and the beaches. The staff are polite and helpful. The food is good. The rooms are very warm but fans are provided. Everywhere was very clean. The toiletries in the bathroom were nice. There were lots of tea and coffee sachets with nice biscuits and bottles of water.
