It was a little noisy as my room was located by the stairs. Not too much though, just noticeable, and not much the hotel could do

I found the hotel through booking.com and rang them to ask about bringing my small dogs, and was told they have pet friendly rooms and if I booked then the receptionist will be able to pull my booking to ensure everything was okay and we were in a good room , the room was £89 booked through booking.com everything was fine until check out when I was given a £20 extra charge for my dogs while checking out there was other hotel guests around and i felt I didnt have a choice but to just pay it and leave rather than argue that at no point had anybody mentioned a extra fee , booking.com doesn’t have that as a extra and the receptionist I spoke to at point of booking never told me about it either , I understand why they would have the charge and if I was given warning of it during booking I wouldn’t have minded but I had 3 points of contact with reception and it was only on leaving was I given the charge is just left a bitter feeling towards the hotel, everything seems to be geared up towards extra charges , when checking in the receptionist was pushing the breakfast on us and said it would be cheaper if we booked it now than in the morning and there was a small bottle of wine in the room that said this is free to have at £8 a bottle so it makes you not know where it’s complimentary or an extra charge , when I book through booking.com and am told £89 that’s what I expected to pay if the hotel policy is to charge for pets you should be adding this as a option on the booking

Pillows really hard & flat .

Nicely renovated . Very clean and with good lighting . Was dog friendly so could bring my puppy for extra charge of £10 😁 Son enjoyed the pool facilities although jacuzzi not working . Front dest so helpful and friendly 😄

Only downside was the Spa jacuzzi was out of operation

Room was spacious, comfortable , clean and fit for purpose. Breakfast was plentiful and piping hot. Breakfast room was clean and Spacious . Excellent all round. As I was there for a Wedding, did not have Dinner , though Food could be ordered from the Room.

Nothing to dislike

Rooms are very spacious and clean. Facilities were great swimming pool and sauna great. Restaurant and bar area great. Location ideal for where we wanted to see overall great place.

Food was just OK. Breakfast was a buffet and could definitely be improved. Wasn’t visually appealing. Coffee from a machine made with UHT milk.

Most of the common areas have been upgraded as was my room. Room was spacious and clean.

It’s a sham that the jacuzzi doesn’t work, and it was very difficult to change dates after our house move date was changed.

It’s a very convenient location. Nice facilities.

There was a party "Peaky Blinders" on the night we were there and unfortunately some drunks were still noisy in the corridor outside our rooms until 3.30 in the morning.Not a good night's sleep . Will check next time we book there are no parties.

There were lots of renovations going on We were woken up by other guests who were very loud banging doors swearing and shouting

Large, modern and recently refurbished room and bathroom. The food in the restaurant was very good, as was the service.

Did not like not having a window although the room was lovely but it felt very claustrophobic we had a skylight didn't know how to work the air conditioning asked at reception and to be honest she just shrugged her shoulders and said she didn't know how it worked....not helpful and also internet was non existent in our room!

Good location for where i wanted to be, i have family not far from here.
