We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Lovely property. Only issue I had was the hill this was due to a slight knee injury. Be mindful, it’s a strap walk up if you struggle with mobility.

The breakfast was mediocre. Unfortunately, most ingredients were dry, as if they had been pre-cooked and left standing. We decided not to order from the cooked menu on the second day.

United KingdomWould be a hard one to answer as there wasn't anything that we didn't like, personally perhaps a little more variety on the menu at the hotel for breakfast and dinner but otherwise no issues.
The food was extremely good, the staff were incredibly friendly and happy to help out, and the room we stayed in was really cosy and comfortable.

United KingdomThe service was amazing they were very attentive. At times, some staff were running around and were rushed which rubbed off on our experience. We understand that serving is fast paced but it made us a little uncomfortable, we don't mind waiting for food or drinks it's all a part of the experience.
The hotel was very cosy and had a really relaxing vibe, and the log fire was lovely! The restaurant service was very good, and the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were very helpful, and the location was not very far from the town centre. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were like sleeping on clouds. The facilities were kept very clean and we loved the sauna and taking a dip in the pool.

United KingdomThe breakfast process was fine (order tea coffee juice toast before sitting down), fresh toast and pastries too. You then order your main breakfast, which I ordered a full English. The food was not on par at all with the hotel itself - burned hash browns, undercooked sausage and mushroom, and scrambled egg was not good. Some attention needs to given to the food and its quality. If this is improved, then this hotel will absolutely be our go-to whenever we go to bowness.
The hotel room was beautiful, luxury and very clean with top-end finishes. Huge bed, great view over bowness and the lake (langdale room) free-standing bath (with TV!) and separate big shower too. Swimming pool and sauna was lovely. Staff were fantastic too, very accommodating, friendly and helpful. Really nice hotel, high up on hill so views were great.

The hotel is beautifully positioned and the views are spectacular. The décor is a mix of traditional and modern style and spotless. The hotel is only a twenty minute walk away from Bowness. Five minute walk to the bus stop which takes you to Windermere or again around twenty minute walk. The staff were lovely from restaurant staff, to the receptionists and everyone in between. I have to make a special mention to Jackie and Lauretta (reception) they were lovely, welcoming and gave the hotel a family atmosphere. They went out of there way to answer any questions or queries that we might have had. (Thankyou)

All the meals we had were really good, good choices, piping hot, and really tasty. Our room was lovely, clean, comfortable and just what we wanted, all the staff that we met were friendly, helpful and very polite. The singer on Thursday night was very good he really new his audience.
