United KingdomThis was our second visit after Hilton dealing with our feedback very well. This experience was perfect for our anniversary, they went above and beyond to make sure this time we felt looked after, this time we used the bar area and breakfast facilities and they were lovely, and the decor and service was to a very high standard. Each employee acknowledged us and make sure we had everything we needed. The room was an upgrade from the previous time, and it was a really beautiful room, spacious and cool. The team at Hilton also went above and beyond with our requests, and they decorated the room free of charge for our anniversary and I thought this was a very nice touch. It’s the little things. The reception lady was very helpful when I wanted to pay extra to upgrade our room on the last night, and the hotel itself is close enough to restaurants, train stations, shops to walk, so you don’t need a car. However we did bring our car, and the parking area was good and under shelter. We also had breakfast, and the variety is great and caters to everyone. Overall very pleased with our stay, and we had the perfect time away for our anniversary.

United KingdomThe air conditioning was set at 24 degrees and they said could not be changed due it’s it being winter and central heating so sleeping was quite uncomfortable and I had to open the window that also won’t fully open. So I won’t be shaking again due to this issue.
Clean nice big standard room. Owen, the male staff at the reception was awesome.

United KingdomThink that the evening staff in the bar could have been better. They didn't seem to know whether to serve at table or the bar. Food was adequate . Slightgly limited choice. I had the Duck salad. It was a small portion. Enough for me but served on a small plate so didn't feel like an evening meal. I don't remember reading about the extra £15 a night for parking that I had to pay. Bit expensive for a hotel guest parking I thought.
Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. As a solo female traveller I felt well cared for . Bed was extremely comfortable . Got a bit lost in the giant feather pillows but not a critisicm. Breakfast room staff were very good and choice of breakfast was brilliant.

United KingdomWe were there to host a Wake to celebrate my mum as she had recently passed away. I had arranged and paid for a buffet including drinks for 35 people. I was told that there was always an over allowance made to make sure that the food would be enough for the number of people quoted. The food was fantastic as well as the service provided by the staff. My contact at the hotel for all of this was someone called Chloe who was absolutely amazing and professional. The only issue was that I felt that there was a lack of quantity when it came to the hot food. However, this was very quickly resolved when I brought this to the attention of the relevant personnel. In summary, this was an amazing experience and would have no hesitation in using this hotel’s facilities again.
