눉We were dissappointed with the standard of our booked executive king room, although the bed was big and the bathroom nice do not bother paying for this upgrade as a classic double room in the Radisson is on a par. We had a view over the bus station (views of the dock are extra) we didnt think this would be a problem as were expecting to be out of room most of the time. They need to clarify what is actually available if you have entrance to the executive lounge, we went out into town for lunch then popped into the exec lounge at 4pm for coffee and, as we thought, refreshments,. When we arrived it just looks like a basic waiting room , it was in a terrible state cups/bottles/plates all over the place as they obviously hadnt been cleared up from earlier . There were no cups etc. available for our use so we ended up phoning down to reception to report this, it took 20 minutes for someone to come up and attempt to clean it. We had to then ask for some cups, she bought 2 out although there were also 2 other people waiting. The refreshments in the day must mean a few nuts and crisps as there was nothing else on offer. We ended up back in our room for a few hours (hence the view issue) and again returned to the lounge as again refreshments and drinks are advertised from 6pm. There were bottles of wine/ beer and cider for us to help ourselves to and some canapes were placed on the service, the bread on the canapes was stale around the edges due to obviously being made earlier, the crisps were doritos and the chicken wings were just like supermarket ones! Come on this is the Hilton!!!! There is nothing to do in this hotel other than the gym (be aware there are no changing facilities in the gym)!We had our room number queried on a few occasions during our stay, both at the bar and when going in for breakfast the next day, we found out that this was infact due to us not being correctly booked in at reception (surely a fire hazzard).
눇the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful with lots of varied choice, exactly as I would have expected from the Hilton.

눉Bathroom lighting poor, particularly over wash basin. Plenty of pillows but they were all very soft & housekeeping provided an alternative but this was not really very firm.
눇Comfortable, modern room. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Friendly, helpful staff. Most convenient location.
