Was rushed on the phone for a check in time as they had a busy night. Concerned I was going to lose the room, so left a networking event to check in and then went back out again. Not ideal. No bottled water in the room - disappointing. For the price of the room, it lacked finesse.

The sound of the train in the night that was a bit noisy while sleeping. The housekeeper was not speaking or understanding English well.

Dirty carpets in rooms. Not enough range and supply of essential items like small plates or salt and pepper in rooms. Carpets can do with a good cleaning and worktop too

Some of the staff would not accommodate me for something I would regard an easy but important issue for. I was over doing a marathon, I wanted to eat my coeliac porridge before the run, I asked at reception could they help me by heating it up in the microwave in the morning she said no, I asked again at the breakfast place again someone else just cut me short and would not even discuss it. It’s very important you eat what your used to eating pre race so you don’t get any upset tummy

Oh dear .what a disappointment my room was was supposed to be a queen deluxe but it was far from deluxe .it was shabby .stained carpet .dinted dirty light shades ,pillows like crisp packets, .bed below average ,lighting not adequate.not what I expected at all .bathroom was lovely but rest of room not so much.

Love the pool and jacuzzi and easiness of not having to book to go in .the heat of both were amazing 👏 10 / 10 .love the staff friendliness. Love the breakfast .

Rooms are looking a little dated in places.

Excellent hospitality from beginning to end. The complimentary room upgrade and added touches from front of house really made the stay memorable. Staff were faultless and endeavoured to make us feel welcome. Great location in the city and convenient parking nearby.

It was very cool in Cloud 23 bar so we ended up taking our drinks to the room, not ideal. We struggled to adjust the temperature in our room and didn't sleep too well due to the temperature of the room and noise of the trains.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They couldn't do enough to welcome us. Gabby on reception checked us in ahead of 4pm as our room was ready. Also as we were there for a birthday treat we were offered a complimentary drink at the bar. In the Executive Lounge, Michelle provided a first class service to meet our every need. Our stay was special due to the service we received. Thank you so much.

Unable to get a late drink in the Sky bar as we missed our booking (we had been to a concert) but then couldn't get a drink in the normal bar as it was closed. Room service was extremely slow and took over a hour to arrive so didn't want the drink by then as it was far too late.

Great location, staff were superb and received an upgrade for a special occasion. Breakfast was also great.

Lovely view from the room. Lovely room. Breakfast was really good. the pool facilities were brilliant and not too busy. Staff were really friendly. Hotel was in a good area close to the canal.

Having a bar that you didn't have to book a slot ie sky bar know you get busy so understand bookings but after theatre and in day would have been nice to have a bar to chill in ..carpets weren't that clean in room..bathroom better to have a wet room rather than bath..bath was quite high for my relatives ...really didn't like the £50 refundable deposit on arrival and then you take £1.50 service charge and done refund all of the money.

My girlfriend and I was awake most of the night and there was very loud noises coming from the ceiling (have video evidence) which caused us to not have much sleep and made the stay less enjoyable.

There were a series of minor inconveniences that made me feel that I was not getting a high-end hotel experience. No USB socket in my room - I hadbto to go out at night to find a sainsbury locally to buy a plug. The television did not work. (Good job I could charge my phone...) There was only lift access to the rooms, which meant that when all the conference delegates were signing in at the same time, the queue for the lift was really long. I appreciate that nobody wants to climb the stairs for the 16th floor, but a little warning to stagger the demand would have been well served.
