Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The hotel, and rooms are little outdated, but this was known and have no negative impact to our stay. Beds were little too soft to my taste, but not big complaints. Our rooms did not have any view from window, just wall and roof, but this was not an issue.
We booked our stay with breakfast, which was good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was good, walking distance to 3 underground stations. Quiet rooms, and the rooms were very clean.

The bedroom was a little tired and basic for the price. But was clean and comfortable.
The public area were really nice and a pleasure to be in. The reception and breakfast staff are very helpful and friendly. Very close to Great Portland Street tube.

The rooms could be bigger.
The location is perfect. A short walk to Regents Park and Camden and Kings Cross along the canal. Loads of very good restaurants in walking distance. Oxford Street also on the door step. The breakfast is fantastic with a varied choice to suit everyone, from the full English breakfast to omelets and porridge prepared however you like it. The hotel staff are particularly welcoming and friendly.

Corridors to rooms could do with some TLC, carpet looking very worn.

Room service was terrible. No menus just a stupid cheap QR code hidden away. Then you can’t get items on the QR menu because the hotel doesn’t have the facilities to make it. Breakfast was not great.

One or two staff members seemed a bit out of place and had to be corrected by other staff members. Nothing major though...
I was particularly happy with the lounge area on the second floor. So relaxing and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Staff was generally helpful and polite. Rooms were pretty decent by London standards.

Front desk was kinda hidden so it wasn’t natural to interact with employees. There was No pool or other amenities you can find in a 4 stars hotel.
Facilities and bedroom were very nice and comfortable. Good location.

The corridor and room were a little tired. The room had been painted recently, but little things let it down. Bedside lamp didn't work, the toilet seat was lose, the ventilation in the bathroom didn't work so became an impromptu Turkish bath after a shower.
A 4 min walk from Great Portland street tube or 8 mins from Regents Park tube means central London is only a short ride away. Walking from the hotel to Oxford Street and beyond is a short stroll. Plenty of restaurants and bars around the hotel for evening meals, Turkish, Greek, Italian, fish, classic pub food etc. Breakfast served from 7am to 11am and was good quality and plentiful. The bar and restaurant areas were always clean and well presented. Booking confirmation said check-in from 3pm.but hotel allowed to check-in from 12 noon. There's a computer and printer available for printing off tickets and passes.

The room we stayed in was very tired and outdated, but as mentioned earlier everywhere was immaculately clean and well looked after and the staff are great !!!

We used the bar on the evening and numerous tables had been reserved for a large party but in the hour we were sat there they didn’t come in. Felt this was a bit unfair
