Nightmare check in due to typing error thought at one stage I was going to be turned away even though I had paid in full 3 months earlier and had all my confirmation emails.very disappointed with my check in was very tired after travelling 400 miles to the hotel.Felt like a criminal at reception in front of other people checking in .I had to stand and wait good half hour to check in !nearly left in disgust 😪

The room was good, we were on a high floor and had a good view. The facilities included a swimming pool which was great. The breakfast was good and was discounted if you paid the night before, they were also very helpful regarding avoiding allergens.

Room could of been bigger. Staff not always available. Pillows could be better. Waited long time to get service at breakfast sometimes as wasn't buffet when visited.

Broken skirting boards in one of my rooms and that’s not safe nor is it appropriate for family rooms where young children can easily get injured. Sofa beds aren’t comfortable but in fairness the actual beds are very comfortable. Closing time for the pool is listed as 8pm but we were told we had to be out no later than 7:45pm. Maybe they should reflect this on the information they provide. The hot tub wasn’t working and that was such a shame.

I liked how there’s a pool which is great for family breaks. Food was great and staff were all very friendly and professional. From staff at reception, housekeeping to restaurant staff, they were all 10/10. The bedrooms were clean. Location is great. No parking issues. The food (breakfast) was really good and staff made sure to top up regularly. Great choice even for fussy eaters. Hot food was served at the right temperatures. Decorations are quite nice.

The price for breakfast too expensive, so we crossed the road to Clarence pier & had it for half the cost of the hotel. The reception staff were a bit standoffish except for Stephen! He was always trying to help, even opening the bar for a group of customers who had just come off shift & wanted a drink to relax.

We liked the location it was close to the bus stop so made the trip to/from the rail station easy. The price for parking was good too even though we were on the road. We enjoyed the swimming pool. Bar prices were reasonable.

Limited parking. Bathroom quite small. Most of the drinks on tap at the bar were unavailable. The evening meal was average, breakfast good though.

Sea view and location great, facilities looked excellent even though we didn’t get chance to use them. Comfy beds. Super helpful excellent staff. Drinks and snacks in the room were a nice touch.

Coffee stains on the carpet in the room, paid for parking in hotel and could not get a space, coffee at breakfast had a weird bitter taste.

The staff were super accommodating, however having paid extra for a better room, I was a little disappointed with our rooom which was a little tired.

Our bed was very hard, which caused us to struggle to get comfortable to sleep. We also felt that the Restaurant staff were under pressure to cope on occasion, which overlooked one member of our party did not receive their drink order until reminded and our second evening resulted in a wrong item delivered to table - feel it needed one more member of staff.

Reception staff extremely professional and friendly. Also helpful in recommending places to visit. Thank you.

Location is ideal for to do sight seen just 10 min walk to gun wharf quays harbour and 10 min walk to sea front.

The hotel was excellent with all amenities enjoyed steam and sauna and swimming pool with good service from all staff. Hotel is clean and hygiene is excellent 👌

Menu in hotel restaurant-for half board no good selection,limited. Door to room-is not possible to keep it open,problem with wheelchair. Smoking area-roof is missing,no cover agains rain...
