Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThe front of house staff were a little short but I could see they were under pressure, the central heating in the room kept going off and the room kept going cold. The entrance location was silly and inconvenient (you have to walk all the way around to the back).
The breakfast was fairly good for a hotel, with a good selection and quality, the staff in the restaurant at breakfast were very polite and engaged. There is a very basic gym but it's better than nothing. This is a mid range budget chain hotel, it was clean.

United KingdomIt was very difficult to find out how to get there from Heathrow Airport. It is extremely close, but in such a position you cannot walk. I tried calling for help on transport options, and was sent a link to a guide on getting a shuttle and / or public bus, but some of the information on the link was incorrect or outdated. I eventually had to seek advice from airport staff on how to get to the hotel, which wasn't ideal after a long journey. It would be better if details of airport transfers were sent proactively to guests in advance, saving time when arriving at Heathrow.
The room was great, and the hotel felt very comfortable and welcoming in general. A good bar and restaurant area.
