Good location, excellent breakfast, comfy bed, very clean nixe people

The bed was extremely uncomfortable and so noisy every time you turned over , needs a new bed. I feel bad saying that as its a nice hotel but we both had bad backs and left a night early.

Perfect location to walk into the city centre but outside enough that it's nice and quiet. The room was clean and nicely decorated, the TV worked if you wanted it, and WiFi.

The small towels given were fluffy already and need replacing really. Double bed mattress slides in the middle when sleeping which are not very comfy especially during my late pregnancy. Check in time was 8pm on booking.com but when calling said was 7pm due to Saturday so would advise if the time can be stated more accurately on booking.com.

The bed wasn’t very comfy

I loved the breakfast, there were lots of options and it was delicious!! Real butter and lots of it and real mushrooms really Make the difference, just good quality ingredients cooked well with lots of tea and coffee. Fab. the view from our room of the minster eas Lovely too.

I was in a bedroom at the front of the house which was clean but the room looked a bit tired and it was very noisy? I did move rooms.

Walls and radiators needed a bit of TLC, price was slightly higher than what we would have liked to pay (although it was St Patrick’s weekend), mugs for hot drinks were a bit small.

Bed was really comfortable, plenty of surfaces to put belongings on and a table to play card games, sanitary ware in bathroom was cleaned to a high standard.

A rail at the front steps to help those less able down would have helped.

Rooms are very tired and rather shabby would benefit from a fresh lick of paint. Also as this was advertised as having parking I thought the extra 10 per day on top of was excessive.

Good location easy walk into city centre . Bedroom was warm and clean and large walk in shower . Nice breakfast with quality ingredients

A little bit too far away to walk to city centre, a few tweaks could of been done to the room. I.e, lampshades falling off, curtains didn't fit window, left a big gap. But room was clean

Great breakfast friendly and helpful staff, way more character than a hotel, hands down beats an air BNB or owt like that.

The pillows were quite soft and floppy but overall the bed was comfortable and we slept well.

The property was comfortable and facilities good. The property was a little tired but the service from the host was excellent. Value for more excellent.

There were some works happening next door which meant we could hear drilling in the morning but that is not the properties fault.

The property was lovely and staff were really helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms are a little worn but the place itself is beautiful and very clean. The room was large and had an ensuite. Bed and chairs weee extremely comfortable. Slept great and enjoyed our stay.

Not exactly something we didn't like, however we were concerned with a crack in the window. We didn't like how thin the cushions were.

The man on the reception desk was very polite, helpful, friendly and approachable. The room was a good size and the facilities were clean. We were pleased that our tea, coffee and milk were topped up without having to ask. There was also a good selection.

Room was to hot and stuffy ad to turn radiator off and sleep with window open all night

Location was excellent too get to places we planned to see hopefully going bk in summer but a different hotel as we will be bringing our dog so we need a pet friendly hotel

no fridge to keep things cool . be nice in the summer months. carpet need possible replacement .

the bed was very comfortable . tea and coffee facilities was excellent ( maybe needed a small fridge for the summer , for sodas etc ) . it was very near to where i wanted to be . the bath and shower .
