We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Not a great deal. Absolutely no ambience In dining room or other parts of the hotel. Staff were few & far between. Barman was more interested in the football on the television. We were actually the only people eating in the restaurant.

United KingdomBoth rooms were located in a separate building to the main reception of the hotel and were situated on the ground floor. Both of the front doors lead straight out onto the car park. We would have preferred access via an internal lobby. This made us feel quite insecure during the night. Would not stay in these rooms again.

United KingdomI think we might have been the only one's staying at the hotel. The breakfast staff were clearly waiting for us when we got there and had made just enough for us (although it was buffet style).
The room we were given appeared to be for people with disabilities. It was comfortable and clean and no problems though. There was a sign on the door that said that noise could be heard in the adjoining room - that made us a little self-conscious.

FrancePoor insulation : we could hear everyone in the corridors. Our room had a view on the parking. We had to wait 15min before somebody came at the reception (I had to find that person myself in the corridors) to check out.
Cooked breakfast is good. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

United KingdomThe bedrooms could use some modernisation - for example more electric sockets and ones near the bed would have been useful. Handy to have a kitchenette but the supply of utensils and crockery was poor. We struggled to access the WiFi.
Good location. Staff were friendly and willing to be flexible (e.g with an early check-in ). The rooms had small kitchenettes - we did not make use this time, but would be useful for so.eone on a work trip. Executive suites are away from the main hotel, they are quiet and well equipped. Good parking.

United KingdomNot enough towels in room. A fire alarm went off at 4am in the morning. It went off for a few mins enough time to get dressed then went off - we were worried if it was real or not so couldn’t go back off to sleep, we tried phoning reception no answer so my husband went to front desk and was told it was to do with a defective alarm in one of the rooms. This greatly disturbed our sleep we were tired all day next day :(

United KingdomThe hotel was very quiet with hardly any other regular guests. We found out that there were over a 100 refugee families staying there. This wasn’t a problem but obviously they couldn’t mix with any guests and as there weren’t any other guests using the bars or restaurant the atmosphere was none existent.
The hotel was in a nice quiet location but close to town.
