Parking was a premium at the hotel, I managed to get parked and leave the car there. If there was no space, I'm not sure where I'd have parked.

The hotel was ideal for my needs. I was visiting for a fishing trip out of the marina, and the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from where I needed to be. I was in an en suite room with a single bed. The room was just big enough with a really comfy bed and a well stocked tea and coffee tray. Outside the room, there was a small fridge containing fresh milk. The hosts were brilliant. Welcoming, kind and always on hand. Couldn't wish for better. The hotel is situated a couple of minutes walk from the town centre where there are plenty of places to eat and drink.

The only draw back was our en-suite was small, and my husband being 6 foot 1 inch had to sit on the loo slightly at an angle otherwise his legs would knock into the sink. But of course not much can be done about that.

Lovely hosts. Very attentive and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent.Everything was very clean and tidy. Also real milk was in a fridge on the landing, as UHT milk isn't as nice. So thought that was such a good idea.They looked after our luggage after we checked out, so that we could spend extra time in Torquay before we caught the train home. Which I thought was very kind of them.

We were in room 7 where the en suite is tiny and would not suit a substantial person. The parking is challenging but San is exceptionally helpful in guiding you into a spot.

This is a lovely property built around 1902 so all the rooms are high ceilinged and both light and airy. All were decorated to a high attractive standard. A pleasant restful lounge was also available. Our room and bed were very comfortable so our 3 night stay was most relaxing. Breakfast was excellent with an adequate variety and I would say that the fried eggs were the best cooked I have ever had. The house is located up a hill just a short walk from the town centre with all the usual seaside facilities. Special mention is needed to praise our hosts Sanjeev & Sabita (San & Sabi from Nepal) who were charming, welcoming, friendly and very very helpful - they, in particular, made our stay especially enjoyable. Because of their friendly welcome we shall return.

Just the location for us as it was on quite a steep hill on a main road, so walking back to the hotel was a bit of a challenge to two pensioners!

Superb breakfast. Excellent linen and towels, good facilities. The family who own it are wonderful and can't do enough for you. Very clean and well decorated hotel.

I had a very good time when staying in the hotel Peppers. The owners could not do enough for us during are stay. We will definitely be staying again in the near future. The atmosphere was very good it was like a home from home.

This family run hotel is located just by the harbour on torquay. My room was spotless as with the rest of the property and the people that own it are very friendly and helpful

There are a four very tight parking spaces right behind the hotel but a permit is provided for the nearby harbour carpark which is a short walk away (steep steps though)

The hosts, San and Sabitha are so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble for them. The hotel is clean and comfortable and just a few minutes walk from the harbour and plenty of nice places to eat.

We had an amazing stay in Torquay and Hotel Peppers was the perfect base. Lovely rooms and lovely hosts. We had 2 rooms close together on the same floor. We were lucky to arrive in time to grab a parking spot behind the hotel. The rooms have everything you need - a kettle, big mirror, complementary bottle of water for each person, coffee/tea, a stand-alone room fan, TV, ensuite bathroom with shampoo/conditioner, shower wash, and hand wash. The bed was very comfortable. We didn't have breakfast, but did have some drinks in the lounge in the evening, Sanjeev took our requests and brought the drinks to us, Good wifi, seats in the decking area to relax in the daytime too. Very clean. An all-round cosy hotel, close to the harbour and town. Perfect. Will definitely stay at Hotel Peppers again if we return to Torquay. Thank you Sanjeev and Sabita.
