Good Location for our itinerary. The food that we had was nice and good value for money. Early check in was not an issue and leaving our luggage after check out to be collected later was a bonus.

A very clean and relaxing hotel, with a nice big room and great shower. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was quiet on the 6th floor so it was easy to get a good night's sleep. The bed was comfy too. It was only a 10 minute walk to the crucible. A good selection of food on offer at breakfast

It was a bit hot (at night) although we could probably have sorted this if we’d tried! A bit more expensive than we had hoped to pay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was well located, clean and adequate for our needs. Bed was comfortable and shower was good.

Slightly disappointing breakfast. Disappointing scrambled egg each morning (over cooked) and lacking in vegetarian/vegan options.

Comfortable and clean ; both communal areas and room. Spacious, well equipped room which was ventilated and at the right temperature. Friendly and attentive staff plus good choice of evening meal options.

In front of hotel, so the sound of traffic at night. Plastic bathroom looks very cheap. Breakfast not very special when you don't want English breakfast.

Great location for transport links, we were going to the arena and the tram is only a couple mins walk from the hotel! The q park next door is good too with a 50% discount for hotel guests if booked in advance. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the bar prices are reasonable. Would stay again if in the area.

Close to a run down inner city area( street behind hotel)…. saw people taking drugs!

Nice bar/ eating area,comfortable bed, good shower! Met a friendly staff member- Darren who gave my son a great insight in to Sheffield, as my son is thinking of doing his degree in Sheffield University this September!

There is no air-conditioning and the windows are limited to a couple of inches which in effect give no ventilation if the just opened 3 more inches they would be perfect. Fans do not ventilate they only move air around.. O

The position in the middle of the city is great. The tram stop is a few minutes walk away. The welcome from the staff was excellent, the young lady on reception booked me in took payment and directed me to my room. Reception also booked me a taxi for 6.40 the next morning which turned up right on time.

The latte from the machine at breakfast wasn't too good! And we were woken one morning quite early by other guests talking loudly in the corridor on their way out - just inconsiderate of them and not the hotel's fault at all!

Clean room, comfy beds and a good breakfast! Gluten free cereal, toast and sausages available. Friendly staff. We left our bag at the hotel pre check in and post check out without any issue.

It would be good if there was somewhere to dry clothes/towels after a swim meet. A communal microwave would also be very useful.

Unfortunately 2nd visit staying in different rooms and the floor outside the bathroom was soaking. Seems to be an issue that needs addressing as not hygienic

Location wasn’t in the best part of the City; but no matter .

Up to usual Ibis Standards : simple but highly functional and clean . Was offered a choice of floor and chose high ( 6th ) , and room offered an excellent view of the Bridge ( and its passing Trams) ,with the ‘iconic’ Park Hill Estate behind ….loved it ; you don’t get that type of view in a ‘posh’ hotel .
