Cold water cut off for 5 seconds mid shower and wasn’t warned the water comes out the tap boiling

Unfortunately the property wasn’t the most up to date and needed a little TLC, but other then that it was a perfectly good hotel room,

The property was very close to the city centre, and the host was very knowledgeable about the area.

Easy to get a taxi in to town , hotel provided us with the numbers . There was free parking. Our room was basic but clean, which is perfect for what we needed

As already mentioned some TLC would not go amiss in places.

This is a budget hotel, so do not expect all the bells and whistles of upmarket ones. The room was clean and spacious although it needed some TLC, but at the price it was good value all the same.

Waited ages for someone to book us in. No one about. As we were leaving another guest had left notes dotted around about bed bugs! So a big shock to us but our room was fine.

Location great. No breakfast available on site but there was a kettle.

room nice, bed comfy, bathroom not so good shower dirtry and sink smell was awful when taps on so didnt shower but only 2 nights so ok.

We asked specifically for twin beds, but were given a double bed which luckily was not too bad for 2 of us who normally have twin beds. The room itself was clean, but the shower plug was absoutely filthy and engorged with hair and scum. It looked as if it had never been cleaned. I removed mass with handful of tissues and rinsed it superficially as I needed to shower. I left the plug out for the cleaner to see how dirty it was. iI needed a thorough clean with a long brush to go into the pipe and disinfecting. When we left there was noone to inform about the room's shortcomings.

light and newly decorated, had fan, table light, kettle , wifi,(weak reception), clean bedding, modern appearance, en suite, space, good storage - wardrobe, drawers, stool. Fan was on when we arrived.

Dirty no tea and coffee had to ask for it no loo roll. Had to ask for it very dusty and dirty curtains. And dirty bed side lamp. Broken toilet roll holder. Broken shower door.

The shower was very hot even on the lowest setting, there were no staff in the reception area to greet guests at any time of the day, we only needed three beds so booked a double and a twin then on arrival we had a triple room and a twin so could have saved on booking an extra room we wouldn’t have needed

No shower gels were provided. When went to check about this, no one was available in the reception or in the office. Absolutely pathetic. For the guests, this is a new place and when can't find anyone to ask or get any help, it is embarrassing. next day morning, when told about this, the receptionist told that we would have to ask. what a contrasting answer and least bothered about the guests.

I feel the photo in the Web site is not the proper one. When l saw the photo, l thought we could watch the sea from hotel.That is the only reason l took this room.There was no one at the reception when we reached . l paid for a family room it was not spacious enough compared to other hotels.One bed was covering the plug point and couldn't use kettle properly as the table kept far away from plug point. My journey was not a planned one. There was no shower gel or shampoo or conditioners. I went and bought it separately

it was clean but there was dirt and papers under the bed. beds very not comfortable. The lift is out of order. upstairs, the floor was creaking and for half the night someone was walking around the room. could not sleep. no washing liquids

the only small minus was the lack of body shower gel. usually in other hotels I found something like this mini size in the bathroom. Was just hand soap.

the reception staff very friendly, the room was fine, perfect for all 5 of us. free hotel parking. the hotel is quite close to the beach, 5 minutes' walk, close to restaurants.

Our small lights, one didn’t work at all, one stayed on permanently, there was no switch for them, I had to in screw the bulb to turn the light off, our shower drain was very slow so it was like a paddling pool in the shower tray, the hair dryer basically caught on fire and the bed lining had a smell on them.
