Breakfast ran out of food before 9am, however this was remedied by the chef making up more ASAP. Noise from a handful of guests banging doors and going up and down corridor in the earlier hours 1-2am. This isn't to the fault of the hotel or staff though! They did eventually go to bed! 😅🙌 No mini fridge in the room - would recommend this. So handy for travellers on route to further north, could then store fresh dog food and any travelling foodie bits.

The customer service. Breakfast service, staff on duty were great. Chef was really accommodating, making sure had fresh eggs for our breakfast. Loved that it was really dog friendly. Will definitely recommend to others. Bathroom, especially the shower was a great size, lovely and clean. Good sized family room. Plenty of extra bedding and cushions.

No way to turn the heating off manually. The hotel turn them on and off. Didn't really bother us too much as we opened a window, and it was frosty outside, so it balanced out. Could hear everything from the room above us, which wasn't great, so in the morning it was very loud and woke all of us up.

Such a big room! Was so comfortable, plenty of seating. Tea and coffee facilities! Lovely views. Staff are really friendly.

The toilet cover was really stained and gross - I could barely use the toilet. I don't imagine changing it would be that expensive... There was no toiled brush whatsoever :( During the first night we spent there at around 1 am a very loud alarm went off - it ruined our first night sleep. We asked about it in the morning and they had no idea what happened.. we had a very packed schedule so not being able to sleep for few hours during the night really impacted us.

We liked the location, so much more quiet than Edinburgh. The deal was really good, breakfast was ok - having warm food during that cold weather was key for us. We also had dinner there for the 2 nights spend, the food was good (a bit pricey though). You can have a walk through the Bannockburn Battlefield which is right behind the hotel. I highly recommend the National Wallace Museum from Stirling as well.

    It is a bit tired/dated.

TV had apps. Location right next to the NTS visitor centre/battlefield site. Quick and easy check in/out. Pleasant staff on reception. Bar looked like it had a good atmosphere.

They were in the process of remodeling and the carpets were not in great shape so hopefully those get replaced. The beds were decent and bathrooms were clean.

The staff was very pleasant and it was nice to have Bannockburn directly behind the hotel.

Breakfast has room for improvement. The beds could have been slightly bigger. Lights in the bathroom were closing automatically which was taking about 5 minutes.

The hotel looked a bit old and in a need of a refurbishment, however it was very clean and a value for money.

There had been a floor collapse from the upstairs ballroom. This meant only a 1/4 of the bar was available. There had been no information about this when booking.

Check-in was quick and efficient, rooms a good size and attractive. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was enjoyed by both of us. Dinner was ok

The toaster for one it was falling apart. Doors some had terrible squeaks we did mention it to staff they said they would sort it but still squeaked all time we was there little annoying as it kept waking us up.. Cleanliness of room was not good load of fluff behind the door, bath had hairs in,did find it hard getting in and out of the bath as it had high sides and no safety rail to hold onto getting in or out definitely not for elderly people. When you opened the windows they were black inside.

Location was excellent for what we needed. Breakfast was excellent. Staff very pleasant.

Nothing really, a couple of minor niggles with the room. One lamp and the tv wasn’t working but I logged into my I player/Netflix and used that but can complain for the price.

The staff really make this place from the moment you arrive from reception, to bar staff to security a solid 10/10
