The lukewarm shower and a very basic vegetarian breakfast let the place down.

The location is perfect for a stay in the city, our room was clean, large and fairly quiet for a busy pub and parking is always a bonus. The staff were very friendly and professional.

Visual aspect on arrival a bit worrying but need not have as once inside pleasantly surprised. the landlord was jolly and welcoming, our room was fairly spacious and breakfast was good. We didn't have dinner there but it looked like a good menu. Far better than the chain hotel we stayed in the previous two nights up north!

The bedroom door had very wide gaps which let in a lot of light - from the hallway- which could not be turned off. Problem for me sleeping. Had to put clothes around the door to try and block.out the light

We enjoyed the whole experience of staying there. We felt that much work had been done in such an old building to create t!he rooms and Ensuite. The staff were very attentive and efficient. There was a nice atmosphere in the whole place. Above all, we thought it was very good value for money and with its own car park. It was warm and welcoming. We were in Room 8

Party on so was a little loud but understandable as a pub.

Ideal location in centre, easy walk to the town. Very clean room, very comfortable, staff were amazing too. Really went out their way to put me at ease for accessing everything with disabilities too!

Would be great if the time for going down to breakfast could be extended. Currently ends at 9am but maybe consider just a 30 min extension ? Especially at the weekends.

This is a very old building full of charm and character. On arrival Mark was very welcoming and very kindly helped with my case and carried it to my room on the first floor. My room was clean and comfortable but best of all had a bath-tub. This was a request i made at the time of booking which was gratefully accommodated. The hot full english breakfast was nice, but even better was the selection of help-yourself buffet style breakfast items. This included filter coffee, fresh fruit, yoghurts, orange juice, bread for toasting, cereals etc,etc. The team member serving at breakfast was lovely, i am sorry i didn't catch her name. Overall very good value for money.

Really friendly and helpful staff, fantastic central location within stones throw of Warwick city centre. Quirky venue with great character with pub and restaurant on site. Fantastic value with beautiful breakfast thrown in.

Just the stairs, but I didn't check so no fault of the vendor

It is very central and a lovely traditional pub with a friendly landlord, beautiful restaurant on site, the food was delicious. Room with 4 poster bed and huge bath with overhead shower. The only problem we had was we were at the top of the building, and my husband has mobility issues. But this was entirely my fault for not mentioning or checking before booking. We had a lovely stay, and Warwick is lovely, Stratford-upon-Avon stunning, and Oxford just perfect.

Not very much. The en-suite in our room was small. The sports bar was very busy throughout Saturday. We could have done with more than one rasher of bacon and one sausage in the full English breakfast.

The team owning and running the property have done a good job in updating it. The rooms were large and comfortable. The bar area has a traditional sports pub on one side whilst the other is a Hispanic based restaurant. The food was tasty and we were well supported by the staff. The on-site car parking was helpful.

The building was authentic, with plenty of original architecture. The welcome by staff was good including a nicely cooked English breakfast. The fact that the restaurant was a tapas bar was an added bonus.

Being an old and traditional building had the slight drawback of a narrow bathroom and steep twisty stairs but the staff helped carry the suitcases up these for us.

A Lovely 400 year old pub. The breakfast was great and they were more than willing to provide extras. The staff did their best to be helpful. The suite was spacious, tucked away under the eaves of the building, with its traditional tudor wooden beams, traditional little doors and low ceilings. Easily within short walk to the town centre so easy to stroll around.
