Staff are amazing, friendly and helpful. Hotel is lovely , situated on the loch . Food is always amazing and they are happy to cater for food intolerances.

The house is absolutely beautiful. Our room had the most beautiful view of the locke .....the breakfast and evening meals were delicious and cooked fresh local produce...the staff were so helpful cheerful and obligingly..nothing was too much trouble...we had our little dog Daisy with us and they loved her ......I can certainly recommend this hotel..and we will be back ..as soon as we can possibly can 😊

The tea and coffee facilities were below the standard expected. The toiletries that are promised on booking weren't there.

Unfortunately the windows are suffering from old age and is noticeable with severe condensation but the rooms are excellent otherwise.

Wonderful traditional property with fantastic attentive staff. However, the main attraction was the food which was simply out of this world.

We felt the drinks at the bar were rather expensive. Our bathroom sink plug was stuck so water barely drained. Also the shower head was black. Pillows were flat and hard.

Great breakfast. Nice property, with plenty of communal space to enjoy. Friendly staff throughout our stay:)

Owner was so kind to wait for at check in at nearly midnight We were famished- he made us sandwiches because the kitchen was closed Such a sweetheart and so hospitable of him Really felt like a home

Would have appreciated fire being lit, some background music, (guests were whispering as it was so quiet). Advance notice of service charge on drinks in lounge would have been appreciated. Some cobwebs and tiredness noted, but overall experience cancelled out the negatives.

The location is beautiful, a lovely view over the water. The hotel itself is beautiful, the lounge was very relaxing and we both enjoyed a few refreshments in the evening. The staff were very helpful and very friendly at all times from booking in, serving drinks and at breakfast. On the subject of breakfast it was great, you could tell the food was good quality. The room was cosy and quiet, we had a great night's sleep. Overall we had a great stay, we will come back in the summer so we have more time to enjoy the view and sit out in the garden. The menu for the evening meal was not to our taste but that's a personal choice, I am sure it would have been lovely though going by the breakfast but don't let that put you off from staying, there is a lovely pub in the village next to the hotel which was really nice just a 5 minutes drive.

Fantastic staff that went above and beyond to make for a comfortable stay, their whisky knowledge was fantastic and made for some excellent recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble - especially managing dietary intolerances.

EVERYTHING... The staff were amazing and our room was lovely , clean and warm with a lovely shower room. Our dog Charlie was treated like a special guest and our evening meal was outstanding ( we had steak ). Absolutely recommend and will definitely book again soon. Thank you

There wasn't anything to dislike.

On arrival Saturday eve, we were made to feel very welcome and staff could not be more accommodating. The whole week of our stay, the staff were helpful and very friendly. This is a great hotel to stay in especially in the summer months when the weather is drier. But a great base location for touring the area. I'd very much like to recommend the hotel to anyone.
