Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

AustraliaI was expecting there to be a bath in the bathroom. My intention was to have a long relaxing bath and great sleep before my long haul flight. When booking all it said was ‘shower or bath’, so I thought ‘superior’ room would mean there was a bath.
Breakfast was fine, although i always prefer barista coffee, even from a good automatic machine, to the coffee in a pot that’s offered

United KingdomThe fridge was dirty at the back inside water flow, brown sludge. Also the shower drain was blocked water was overflowing on the whole bathroom floor, we had to have a very very short shower. Did mention to reception as we checked out.

United KingdomOnly one quibble. Air Conditioning. You don't need AC in Britian in March! Le Petit Reveur, and otherwise excellent restaurant, was too cold and some people were wearing coats.
The hotel is at the airport so does not fit with all the above location categories. But it is always a pleasure to stay at the Sofitel Gatwick - you walk down the tunnel from the bustle of the airport to the calm of the hotel piazza and a friendly welcome. The facilties are excellent and relaxing. There is a good choice of places to eat and drink. Then it is very convient for the ariport in the morning.

United KingdomWe arrived quite late, with a VERY early start and our room didn’t have the pre-ordered child’s bed. The hotel staff were very nice but that we had to ask for and wait for the bed to arrive in the room was frustrating because we desperately wanted to get our five year old the sleep needed before our early start.
I got a good deal that included parking for my holiday. It is right next to the North Terminal with a very quick, regular and easy monorail to the South Terminal.

Great location next to north terminal. Two minutes walk through covered walkway Brings you out next to free terminal transfer to south terminal, train / monorail Hotel was clean with several choices of restaurants. We are the bar which was good but as expected expensive Room was clean and modern, bathroom was nice Bedroom overlooked the atrium We would stay again

GuernseyThe rooms are too hot anyway and then they put a topper on the mattress of the bed. It does not make it more comfortable just hotter. The aircon also kept flicking back to 21 when o had set it on 18. The result is no sleep!
