It was winter but the room was very warm and I slept with the window wide open! The only thing which was a bit of a shame was an scruffy porch which did not give the best impression and belied the quality of the hotel

Everything was better than I expected and was great value for money. There was no dinner available but I was helped with a take away which I could eat in the restaurant with great service provided. Breakfast was also excellent

Our room was very dated. Vehicle access quite tight and could be made easier.

Good breakfast dinner not available guest lounge fine and bar adequate. Parking fine and room access good. Hotel surrounds and garden attractive!

Restaurant not open at night and a long walk from town. Bar closed at 10 so not possible to get a late drink or any food or snacks Nobody around after 10.30. No fridge in room to keep our own snacks or drinks . No iron or ironing board. Booked a room with a 4 poster bed and got just that- a bed with 4 posts - no drapes etc. Disappointing. It would have been nice to sit in the balcony window but couldn’t fit the desk chair and easy chair there.

Spotlessly clean. Lovely bathroom and view from the balcony window overlooking the garden. Pretty garden. Very friendly and efficient staff. Good breakfast.

Only complaint was the fried eggs at breakfast were undercooked. Not a problem. Next time will ask for easy over.

Our surprise lunch for a family member, staff very helpful. Dietry needs catered for. Would have liked to have had a better dairy free butter. However i do appreciate food places are always looking to be updated on the subject. I am always happy to work with the chef to compromise with the menu. My family and i enjoyed our lunch dinner and breakfast. Made even more special by our waitress whose name we cannot remember. ( she wore pigtails). So helpful to our needs .

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and comfortable room relaxed and quiet. Breakfast very good. Plenty of parking.Staff welcoming, friendly and polite. Ideal for when I am working of that way.

Breakfast was not freshly cooked. Poached egg was rock hard, should not have left the kitchen. Bacon not fresh off the griddle, obviously a hotplate system

The bed in our room seemed small for a double. Couldn’t turn off the radiator in the bathroom but this was only a problem because the weather was hot. The breakfast table was clean, but very sticky. The cups and plates etc, stuck to it.

Breakfast good. The staff who were serving and taking orders were really friendly. Room was clean and had everything we needed. It was fine for a couple of nights’ stay. Parking available. Location good. Close to the venue of the wedding we attended.

Room was well equipped including a fan which was very much appreciated! Staff very friendly and eager to help. Lovely garden to sit in with a drink from the bar
