We went out of season, so the bar was shut. This was a huge disappointment as sitting outside with a drink would have been perfect. I know it can't be helped, and it didn't stop us from sleeping even with the window open, but it's right next to a railway line. I wouldn't let this stop me from coming back

It's in an amazing location and they have a lot of features for you to enjoy it. There are loads of comfy chairs, hammocks, sunloungers, and table/ chairs so you can soak up the beautiful scenery. There is a sunken trampoline for the little ones to bounce some energy off. There is also a wooden structure for them to play in with toadstools for tables and chair's. The rooms were a decent size with plenty of facilities for our stay. The bathroom was brilliantly designed, so there was lots of space and really warm. The room was cleaned every day, including fresh towels.

The lounge wasnt open. It was a cleaners dumping ground. But did not distract from it being a great place.

We did have a message to say there would be no staff there when we arrived but when we got there there were two members of staff, they were lovely but seemed abit rushed. They said they were short staffed and the message also said they weren’t doing food etc which was a shame coz the dinning room looked lovely. Basically it looked like it could be even better but no one actually explained why there was no food etc or short staffed, have they been taken over etc? Small details like the edge of the bath needs wiping round and abit of hair in the plug hole but honestly it was nothing major, everything was pretty new, it was quiet and a nice stay. I’d defo stay again.

The place was pretty new, quiet, inbetween the two main beach’s near by. We could walk to the pub over the road which was lovely. It had a play area for our little girl. Plenty of tea and coffee in the room. Good parking, great views.

Nothing really, say nav try’s to take you past the property. Could do with bigger mugs on the tea tray but that’s not really a problem.

Lovely place to stay, great nights sleep. Very clean and plenty of room. Great to wake up to the view in the morning.

I really wanted to have a cooked breakfast, and thought it was included. Would have been nice to have had a couple of decaffeinated drinks, or even a hot chocolate. The shower was dirty when the door was shut (in the corner) the door kept getting stuck too. Would liked to have seen at least one member of staff.

we liked the location away from the main road, quiet and restful. Unfortunately breakfast was not available due to COVID policy of the guest house. This was not apparent until we had booked. Th local pub within walking distance provided an excellent evening meal.

Some black mould in bathroom. Bedroom was perfectly clean though. No breakfast available due to Covid. View from window was a wasteland and train line.

The jets in the bath stopped working after a while and the hot water ran out, but we had a good time still. Was told on booking could get in at 2pm we arrive 30 mins early and was happy to leave car and pop to local pub for a drink after a 3 hr drive. Cleaner said no 2pm check ins was made to feel really bad, looked up and down, then she said it’s okay your rooms are ready if you were somewhere else it’s wouldn’t have been ready, who told you 2pm.. we brushed it off not the best start to be questioned and then talked about to the other staff, and looked at by them too. But thought maybe miss communication with management and staff and hope it’s a one off.

Bed was really comfy just the bed we slept on over night when my other half went to the toilet she got bruises on both legs due to end of the bed having a piece of wood sticking out. Like I said nothing wrong with the room it’s self just might be worth trying to sort that out. Thank you for stay was amazing!
