We stayed in the extension to the original building, which was ideal with our two small dogs, the decor is now slightly dated as is the bathroom fittings/ tiling. The external veranda woodwork is showing signs of needing a re-decoration. The mattress also could most likely do with replacing. These are intended as minor comments to provide feedback to help the business improve the customer experience. If these items were attended to this would be a superb hotel in all aspects and we will certainly be back.

The location is absolutely perfect. The views and surroundings are stunning. The hotel is clean and the room has everything you need. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food in the restaurant for both breakfast and evening meals is of the highest quality.

Food for evening meal was slightly disappointing and choice on menu was relatively limited. The matting on the balcony was saturated with rain water making it unpleasant. Perhaps the drainage could be improved?

Not much we didn’t like, the bathrooms were slightly outdated but everything worked fine, hot water and very clean so no complaints from us!

The staff were amazing everyone was super welcoming and helpful. The rooms were a good size and perfect for our dogs! The bed was huge and spacious and the bathroom was nice and clean. The balcony areas were an amazing touch and the views were beautiful! This was a lovely stay and we would most definitely come back in a heartbeat. Food was lovely and the grounds were beautiful.

The beds weren’t the most comfortable, as the double is made up of two twin size beds I could feel the line where they were joined in the middle. We didn’t opt for dinner as it was really expensive, but with the hotel being where it is, I was not surprised at the prices. It would have been nice to have a different option for coffee in the room - as I really don’t like instant coffee, even the coffee bags you can get with ground coffee would have been better.

The views from the rooms were stunning, a gorgeous view of the Loch. The staff were friendly, and there were highland cows just down from the hotel that you could say hello to. The rooms were nicely designed, and equipped with almost everything you could need. The breakfasts were also delicious - well worth getting up for!

The noise in the lodges was pretty bad, could hear everything from below and next door which wasn’t ideal. Was awoken early every day with this so no long lies.

Outstanding views, comfy rooms, amazing food. Will definitely be back, staff were all exceptional and really made the stay great.

The food is the best we had in Scotland up till now. The room is very pleasant with a homey feel. The staff are very friendly. We even got a box of chocolates in our room and also a special treat for our celebration. I will definitely be back. This time with my dog, since they are very welcome there.

the property is located in the hills on the sea and has spectacular views, roaring fireplace and large windows across the front. it has great ambience. the property also has wildlife in the yards mixed in with rows of tulips. serving staff are attentive and polite. would definitely recommend.

Breakfast was good but could have been better - bacon, sausage and potato scones were all a bit hard - it seemed like they had been cooked then kept warm. Bed mattress was quite soft so not the best if you have a bad back!

The dog friendly rooms are fantastic. Lots of space with a lovely decking area to soak up the view. The hotel itself is really nice (maybe a wee bit tired in some spots). Evening meal was very good (although the advertised chowder wasn't really a chowder!).

The location and view is stunning! We enjoyed being by the sea and the walk to the shore is short and nice. The cows and goats in the field were lovely! Hotel staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Food and drinks were delicious and good value. Room was well kitted out and super comfy. We would definitely return and highly recommend to all!
