Check in at 4pm I felt was a bit late...2pm or 3pm would have been better. The light right outside the pod was shining in the window all night

The layout of the pod...kids loved it. The location was perfect to explore balloch.

It was great to be walking distance to the town, with restaurants, attractions and shops. The campsite was very well maintained and felt peaceful even though it was very full. Great location to go out exploring the area.

Was given fob for reception toilets which were quite close by but showers were a bit far. I was shocked that the family showers were on a 20p for 3 minutes meter so of course I brought my 7 year old into the ladies showers. Is this a tax on families with young children during a cost of living crisis? Imagine trying to shower an adult and 2 toddlers on a 20p meter when you are already paying around £150 a night for a pod with no WC? Unbelievable and just mean. The "free" showers were difficult to adjust and a bit hot with low water pressure. There was only one bright light for the whole pod. This made it difficult to find keys to get out in the middle of the night to the loo without waking someone else. A bedside lamp would have been nice. I would have liked to have had the option to access some plastic plates, cups and cutlery. We had to bring sporks and bowls for breakfast which was a lot to carry as a single adult and child carrying luggage on public transport. In general, the value for money was not good for me as a single parent with one child. I only had the choice to pay full price for a 6 person pod. Either smaller pods or the option to pay less rather than have empty accommodation would be preferable.

Great location, which I chose because I don't have a car and it is close to the train station. Facilities were clean and I paid for the bedding pack which meant I didn't need to carry sleeping bags and towels on the train. The accommodation was ready early which meant we were able to check in at lunchtime on arrival and make the most of the afternoon.

Not ideal if your someone who needs to pee alot luckily gad a bucket in the car

Stayed here with a friend after doing the kilt walk and it was a perfect location were we could relax, sit outside and have a few drinks. The showers were very clean. The pods were warm and everything you needed

I didn’t like the fact you could not get in until after 4pm then out at 10am next day a lot of money for only 18 hours. Also we arrived at 2pm with food etc in car and we still couldn’t get in so had to wait 2 hours with everything still in car in that very hot weather which was not ideal, so didn’t really get benefits out the time we had at park, even though we asked staff if we could leave stuff in fridge we were told no

I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the pods and was pleased to find a microwave, toaster and fridge.
