Everything feels like an upsell opportunity. There are things in the room, subject to payment. But it was extremely poor indeed to be provided with Nescafe sachets for coffee. At this price point I was hugely disappointed to not have a small coffee maker and pods. Even to have proper coffee bags. It is extremely mean to only supply such cheap low quality coffee in sachets.

There was no buffet option. You are tied to ordering from a Gordon Ramsey restaurant. The food was nice but oversized and extremely pricey for what it was. I would have preferred the opportunity to select a smaller amount of food from a buffet with more healthy choices. In the evening there are nice bars, but otherwise the hotel is one of the most soul-less I have stayed in.

My only disappointment was that the room is a little dated, in particular the bathroom.

The staff were amazing. When they realised that it was my husband's birthday on the day that we checked-in, they upgraded us to a premium room and gave us a complimentary premium breakfast. They also followed this by having a birthday card and lovely passion fruit desert sent up to the room. Everyone, was polite, approachable and friendly during our stay. The room is spacious and clean with all required amenities within. They lighting was quite dim, but when we requested a lamp, this was provided with a 'no trouble' attitude. As was the same when we felt that the room was a little cold. A heater was brought up, which made all the difference. It was a particularly cold weekend, so I don't think the temperature of the room when we stayed was a normal issue.

Rooms too small. You couldn't open the door to the restroom while opening the door to the wardrobe. Also, I couldn't find a larger room with two separate beds.

The location of the property is great. A 5 min short walk to Oxford Street, Selfridges and Marks & Spencer’s as well as many other places. All the staff were wonderful. We were hesitant to book because of some other reviews but happy we did! The a/c in the room wasn’t cooling when we were first got to the room. We immediately told the front desk and they took care of it right away. It ended up being cold in the room which was perfect in August. Breakfast was included and was very good. We enjoyed our stay. Our room faced the front street of the hotel.

Although 5 stars, it didn't feel luxurious. Fridge has sensors so can't be used for personal items.

Location is very good, close to Oxford Street and Hugh quality restaurants/cafes nearby. Staff were accommodating when we needed to store luggage for a few days.
