Hated being on the ground floor - it didn’t feel as safe and the windows didn’t tilt and turn so we couldn’t open them at night which we love. As a female I wasn’t as relaxed or comfortable as I would normally be and definitely impacted on my stay on this occasion.

Clean with every facility you would need for a trip and stayed before. Clean and well presented. Staff are very responsive to requests and it was great being able to leave our luggage in the storage facility on our last day. Have stayed before but would defo make a request to stay on the upper floors. This would affect my decision to stay if it wasn’t available.

This rental and others by this company are probably contributing to the housing crisis in Edinburgh. I feel bad for having stayed here rather than further out or at a hotel or other non-apartment accommodation.

Clean & safe place to stay; somewhat noisy with local foot traffic after the bars nearby close, but not too bad. Well appointed short-term apartment.

Lack of soundproofing between apartments and from outside footfall. Very noisy at night with people shouting outside. Needs a few more utensils as it was lacking a few basic items ie a serated bread knife and the knives that were there were very blunt.

Excellent clean accommodation right in the heart of the West end. Couldn't ask for a better location. Very clean and spacious.

We are in our 60s and our daughter has fibromialga so we did struggle to get our luggage up to the 2nd floor with no lift. If we booked again we would have to request a ground floor if there were none available it would stop us booking again.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful and very clean. Not a bad position as near a tram stop.

Easy access to most sites. This site was a just around the corner from the tram stop and airport bus stops. The apartment was clean, comfortable and warm during chilly nights.

Fantastically located apartment (15-minute-walk from the Old Town). Very spacious, clean, with a lot of appliances. Easy access through a code, internet and TV working without any trouble. If we ever come back to Edinburgh, we'll choose The Malt House again.
