The hotel offered to upgrade our room due to a heating issue but the new room was still cold until we twiddled the radiators. Once we got it working all was fine.

Lovely breakfast, a good bar/lounge, located in a very quiet and nice neighbourhood. A 10 minute walk to York centre and well placed for the train station once you know the route. Great staff. Comfortable hotel. Overall very good.

Beautiful property, the rooms were spacious and very well maintained, the staff were lovely and so helpful. The onsite bar for residents was a perfect place to end the day before going to bed. Loved every moment of the stay.

Room was a bit too warm for us (personal preference I know) but couldn't turn radiator off.

Room was very clean and nicely decorated. Balcony was great in the morning. Bar was cosy and convenient after a long day walking. Breakfast was good. Hotel is a nice walk from the city walls and tucked away in a quiet location. Would definitely stay there again.

There was nothing we didn’t like. The room was great, the hotel bar was great and the staff were great.

Everything! The hotel was really lovely inside, so quirky and incredible decor! We were upgraded to a suite for my birthday and it was wonderful. The bathroom was really great with a massive rainfall shower which we loved. The bed was really comfortable and a great size. I absolutely loved the hotel and will definitely make the effort to go back.

Rooms could do with a little sound proofing as the people who stayed next door had their TV on all night long and I could hear it word for word. But apart from that I have no faults.

We loved our stay at clementines. Was a short walk to York from the hotel which was lovely in the sunshine but not when you get soaked by the rain. But the shower soon warms you up which was amazinnng!! Great atmosphere we loved the hotel in general the hallways and the bar area/breakfast area were beautifully decorated. Also the bonus of Teddy the cat made missing our two boys at home a lot easier! Would definitely stay here again!

Staying at Clementines Town Hotel in York was an absolute delight! The location was perfect, the room was beautifully decorated, and the staff was incredibly friendly. From start to finish, our experience was fantastic. Highly recommend! Additionally, this was our second stay at Clementines Town Hotel, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Car parking is a little bit expensive - but encourages travel by train which is good. (Weren’t able to on this trip!)

The building is lovely, the decor is stunning. Full opulent maximalist! The young man who checked us in was very helpful and friendly, and all of the staff asked us how we were and what we had planned for our stay. Breakfast was delicious and lots of different options. And the resident cat was an added bonus 😍
