I had organised a 60th birthday dinner in the hotel restaurant which went very well. Plus a spa day in their health club the following day which was excellent, full range of treatments on offer plus swimming pool, sauna, steam, gym and sun loungers. There is a restaurant, bar restaurant for meals throughout the day, golf available too.

I assume it is hotel to stay if you play golf. The location means you have to drive to go anywhere. My balcony overlooked the car park. A nice touch but not the best of views 🤣 The decor in the corridors reminded me of hotels from say 20 years ago. The food was good honest grub and the service was fine but you would be disappointed if you were looking for haute cuisine. For the single traveller, I might suggest eating in the bar area. There was nothing wrong with my stay apart from a billing issue which was rectified upon my return home. I think I had just been spoilt elsewhere, in the preceding months, by staying in some independent hotels with either excellent food and/or a little more atmosphere. I imagine the place is buzzing in the warmer months.

The staff were friendly. The facilities are good if I had been able to use them. If you have not been to Canterbury, I would recommend doing a detour to visit it. I saw the Cathedral and had a nice evening meal ( Côte Canterbury) which was good value.

The room had a faulty TV and the phone didn't work either. Also the radiators were really noisy. The showers in the pool were either frezing cold or scalding hot.

All staff were so helpful and pleasant. Pool and gym facilities were great.

The hair dryer broke and almost exploded in my face but it was replaced just wasn’t ideal as we was late to our dinner reservation.

Breakfast options were limited at times - very little freshly cut fruit and pastry selection. Bedrooms and bathrooms a little bit tired and could do with a refurb - a lot of noise when toilets were flushed and shower was not as powerful as I’d like.

Restaurant and bar area lovely - great vibe, very relaxed and food was good. Coffee machine at breakfast was super fast so no long queues waiting to pour a cup. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Toiletries in bathroom were beautiful and replenished daily. Good amount of convenient car parking. Gym facilities were excellent.

On arrival my room was ready My guests (family had to wait for rooms and got moved ) I booked well in advance and arrival tulle was 3 pm my brother waited until 330p m My sister arrived at 4 and room again not ready but moved to another room .. apologies were given to both .. but I felt disappointed

The Bar could have had a little more atmosphere a little sterile. Some low music would have been nice.

breakfast really good quality, just a little cold on 1st morning, but staff happy to heat it up. Second day as we went down earlier was very good temperature Mukiul- Chef was very nice and helpful.

Sadly the golf course was shut but so are loads of others due to all the rain so it was not a surprise.

Really nice for a quick break, met friend there for a one night stay and had a lovely time. Staff were very nice, food was good breakfast had great choice and lots of things to do.

No trouser press in room and conditioner dispenser over bath was empty.
