Meadow Farm food was disgraceful so expensive. I paid £5.50 for a bowl of lettuce and a few prawns not good value for money at all.

Avocado at breakfast was the only let down, either over blended to liquid or from a bottle unfortunately. The rest of the breakfasts were great.

Everything at the hotel was perfect but there were a few issues in the restaurant. We had dinner the evening we arrived on Easter Friday and it took over an hour for the food to arrive. It wasn't extremely busy, but they said they were short of staff. The staff working were friendly and tried as much as they could to provide an enjoyable experience, but they got my drink order wrong, they ran out of ingredients, etc. The food was okay. The next morning for breakfast, there was barely anything available for the continental breakfast. No milk, no orange juice, no pastries... They seemed to have had delivery issues and again lack of staff. The only lady working in the area, was trying really hard, but it was not easy for just one person and everything was a bit chaotic. The food arrived luke warm, not hot.

The location was great as a base to explore the area. Good value for money, spacious room and clean. Staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms equipped with everything needed. The hotel building was beautiful and the restaurant/pub next door is handy. There is a small play area for kids. The gardens were pretty.

Bit noisy throughout our stay as Could hear everything from the upstairs room. Our key card didn't work, got it changed but still faulty.. did report. Cleaners were very noisy outside our room both mornings. Breakfast starts too late in the morning. Would be better starting at 7am.

Didn't stay in main hotel this time. Was nice and seemed to have a bigger rooms. Bigger bathroom. Bath seemed bigger. Bar and food always good service and plenty of choice.

I stayed 2 nights in 1 room which was brilliant...quiet, comfortable clean and welcoming. I then unexpectedly had to rebook another night so had a room in the outside building on ground floor. Not so great ..Still good but not as nice as main building bathroom smelt damp and couldn't get Internet.

Woo-full breakfast service waitress messed up breakfast order( absolutely no apologies) no cups for coffee machine that’s incidentally had no milk in anyway and was told there’s cups in my room because I didn’t want to surrender mine ( spoiled my morning and told her as much ) Had tipped and rewarded evening meal staff and chef but omg what a different world I. The morning!!! Wasn’t even many customers and saw another guest go get his hotel room cup !

Breakfast was disappointing. Communal area for cereals, hot drinks, toast etc was dirty - sticky surface. Had to check 3 cups before I found a clean one. Chairs had food stains on them. Had to ask for milk as none left. Ordered eggs on toast, toast was burnt, dry (no butter) and eggs overcooked. On the basis of this we did not have any further meals, breakfast or dinner, which was disappointing as we purposely booked for this reason.

We stumbled upon this hotel for a two-night stay while en route to the NEC in Birmingham, and it turned out to be pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. We dined at the nearby restaurant which was bustling with activity and served decent food, providing a convenient option for meals. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Overall, this hotel provided us with a convenient and comfortable base for our trip. If you need accommodation in the area, I would certainly recommend giving this place a try.

rooms downstairs were being renovated, no disturbance caused to us but looking forward to staying in an updated room next time

Had dinner on two nights, good food at good prices, was also nice to be able to have a couple of drinks.
