Unfortunately, whilst our room (number 10) was nice and clean, there was a bit of a smell in it. Not a strongly unpleasant smell, and one we got used to after a few minutes each time we entered the room, but leaving the window open did not remove it. It was markedly different from the corridor / stairs areas. Not a deal breaker by any means, and didn't ruin our stay or anything like that, more feedback to the hotel to maybe investigate it!

The location was excellent, and although, as stated in other reviews, there was nobody on-site to talk with or check in with. However when we needed to speak to someone about where we could lock our bikes, the provided phone number was answered quickly, and by someone who was polite, helpful, and could make decisions. I want to reassure people who may be put off by some of the other reviews, that the phone number provided was more than enough for our needs. The general standards of cleanliness seemed high, and whatever polish is used on the banisters smells very nice! The decor was nice, I particularly enjoyed the weird idea of mounting old cutlery on the wall in an empty picture frame, very unique!

Rooms can get hot during summers, a fan should be provided.

Great location on the outskirts of Snowdona National Park. Good base to explore the region. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Self check-in and check-out was smooth. Free Parking. Good cafes and grocery stores at a short walk from the hotel. A lovely river walk nearby.

This property is in a perfect location for a break away in Wales. It's 25 mins away from the coast and on the doorstep of beautiful scenery. Good location to visit any of the three Zip world places (we did two of them). The village has a bakery and butchers to get sandwiches/pastries. At least two places to get breakfasts. A fish n chip shop that sells burgers with a restraint attached. A couple of pubs n charity shops. A mini bank. Lovely Riverside walk. Would stay again.

There was no coffee maker and there was only one bathroom. We also could not get the TV to work.

It was a beautiful space and plenty of room to spread out for our family. Nelson was very helpful. The apartment was very close to both train stations and to the grocery store.

Extremely helpful staff. Arrived late and was still able to check in. Reasonably priced even on a bank holiday and comfortable rooms.

no meals so if you want to eat breakfast you need to go out or buy it in. I did the latter & bought fruit etc.. from the local co-op.

stayed for two days for meetings in North Wales. very nice rooms. i had room 4 overlooking the meadow. Even though the room faces the road there was little noise. during my two nights stay a Chinook helicopter & a large transport plane flew past my window on RAF training flights, which was rather unexpected & exciting.

Expensive for what we got - no staff (self check in and check out), breakfast was an extra cost and very basic (£5 for cereal bar, yoghurt and some juice), bathroom was tiny, walls paper thin (woke up every few hours by others using their bathroom, felt like they could have been in our room).

The rooms were clean, well decorated and comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the room (although no decaf option)

Lovely hotel, perfect central position to visit the Zipworld sites. A stones throw from Fforest and equal short distance between Penryhn Quarry and Slate Caverns. Honesty bar was a nice touch along with the dining area where you could eat your own food.

Our stay at meadowsweet was really good, the room was perfect for 4 of us. The hotel was fantastic at finding our lost property and sending it out to our home address. Would really recommend.

It was the first hotel I've ever stayed in where I didn't see a single member of staff for the whole duration. (That could be good). Major roadworks right outside that we weren't told about. No view from room even though we were the only occupants in the hotel. Nuts and pringles out of date. It was the start of the season so most of the above was probably understandable.

The bed was comfortable, very clean room and great location.. Loved the little room downstairs where salt, vinegar, cutlery and a microwave were provided.

We didn't see a staff member the whole time. We had to call a number on arrival at reception to receive instructions about how to get our key. Sadly, no breakfast option. Nearby cafes were good but not open until 9am. Since we had a twin room, it would be nice to have 2 chairs but there was only one. There was only 1 hand towel and 2 bath towels for 2 people. People with long hair like to have an extra towel.

The room was comfortable, clean, spacious and in a great location with plenty of parking space. There were nice touches in the room such as iron & board, hairdryer and hair straighteners.
