Nothing we didn't like

Everything. Incredible location, right on the Piccadilly Line to Heathrow and within walking distance of every major attraction in London. The hotel is magnificent, classy, cool and opulent. The rooms are spacious, the bed super comfortable and had a massive TV and luxury bathroom. It was way more than we bargained for. And the Bar. Is. Amazing. We loved it.

Fresher, brighter room, more storage space, more comfortable bed

Room was very disappointing - not the size but it was tired and lacked any space for hanging clothes, no bedside table, tired furniture and uncomfortable bed. I have stayed here many times, and come back, and this was the worst room I have had, sadly

Reception folks not super friendly, induced me into paying extra money to get an upgrade for a bigger room, only to offer later my travel companion an upgrade to an even larger room just across from mine. When I asked them to explain that strategy they just raised their shoulders. They also complicated my check out by printing two separate invoicing with amounts that were extracted and added in a complicated way even though they did eventually amount to the right end total but made it quite difficult for me to expense with my company later

Location, right in front of a major underground station. Breakfast varied, good quality, nice restaurant, friendly staff, good coffee.

Was a small issue with sanitation upon check in that had to be resolved before I could stay in the room; toilet was improperly cleaned. But upon calling housekeeping, it was resolved. The occasional discoloring/faded stain on some towels also had me changing towels regularly just to assure I was getting fresh towels.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating - held my luggage before check in (I arrived very early) and booked me a private car to the airport with a very early check out. My second stay in the hotel, and the staff is always very friendly and quick to fix an issue. Nicely furnished and spacious rooms for cost, location is impossible to beat for access to London - literally just fifteen steps from a Tube stop.

Had to pay to upgrade £45 room breakfast was an extra charge £22 per head A charge to get early check £40 a charge for late check out after 12am £25 per hour from 12 till 3 We found hotel expensive!!! We probably wont book again! We stayed at the bloomsbury hotel last year simular star hotel better value than the Baileys hotel

The television in my room did not work (at least I could only watch ITV and not BBC or Channel 4). I reported it both on the first and second mornings but nothing was done and even no apology was offered when I checked out. The girl only wanted to know my room number. While I of course don't go to London to watch TV I did go back early to watch the second half of the Rugby but to no avail. Basic necessities in hotels should work - or be repaired / replaced asap!!

I have been staying at Bailey's a couple of times a year for almost 30 years. I should have scored it less this time (see below) but I remain a fan - great location, nice friendly hotel and very well presented.

All was good, i do like to open a window for air which i didn't see how to..but not really a complaint as there was aircon..

Was there for 3 nights and luckily got an upgrade, which was the quality of what I would have expected. Bed great, room was spotless and the lady who cleaned the room was really efficient and very pleasant
