Very good position for beach and shops. Excellent hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic breakfasts that set you up for the day. Could come and go as I pleased

Shower pressure a bit low.

Friendliness of the owners, Pete & Rhona, homely feeling and made us feel very welcome. Pete carried the holdall as hubby has a slipped disk and thats why we wanted a mini break with a bedroom on the ground floor. Monico is close walking distance to the sea, shops, restaurants and bus stop outside. Yummy breakfast and we were asked what we like serving up each day with plenty of choice including juices, cereals, full english, toast, jams, tea/coffee yhevroom was warm and cozy with TV and en-suite shower room Will definitely return in the near future and love North Bay. Thank you both and wish you all the best for 2024.

Bathroom wash basin slightly small with centre tap a dominant feature restricting ease to rinse your face with the danger of connecting your forehead to the tap

Warm friendly reception on arrival - comfortable and quiet room. Tasty breakfast. An ideal place to stay for myself as a solo traveller

I was made to feel welcomed and that nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were fantastic. From the Guest House I could get to where I needed to go quite easily in a 10 to 15 minutes walk.

It was all satisfactory for both of us. Could not expect anything more.

Breakfast was very good without any fat on the plates, the choice was good also. Peter served the meal rapidly and was it was cooked extremely well by Rhona. Both were efficient and very friendly which always helps. Thank you both.

Friendly welcome and enjoyable continued interactions. Great breakfast. Slept like a baby for 3 nights. Great location with the park, bars and restaurants nearby. Bus stop 100 yards away for the Whitby bus. Peter and Rhona have work to do to address some issues they inherited when they took over 8 weeks ago but they are tackling them head on.

Saying goodbye ☹️ it's a shame we didn't have more sunshine, but you can't have everything.

First time visiting Scarborough and staying at the Monico Guest House, myself and my husband were very happy with the service we were given, Property was very clean and tidy, room was very spacious and cosy and breakfast was delicious 😋 Peter & Rhona are a lovely couple and nothing is too much trouble for them, would highly recommend we will be returning next year.

The en-suite was rather small - a very small sink and the shower only stretched to my shoulders! However, all quite manageable.

Good location for all Scarborough attractions. onstreet parking with permit from guest house,parked virtually outside. nothing too much trouble, couldn't be any more helpful and friendly.

Hosts are only 4 weeks in to business so will and plan to look into the B&B side. Room needs a refresh on decor but that didn’t impact the cleanliness. Ready supply of tea making top-up items. Bath towels a little old, maybe supply Bath Sheets .

Host (Peter)was there to welcome me and say make it your home, come and go as you like which settled me in lovely. Breakfast started off with hand prepared fruit salad and full English, set me up for the day. Own shower and toilet. Free wi-fi and modest on-street parking fee for B&B. Location, 10 minutes either way to beach and town. Host happy take on comments, from annother, around the breakfast presentation.

Nothing to dislike.

Lovely B&B not too far from the town centre. Very friendly owners who served up a delicious vegetarian breakfast. The single room was cosy and comfortable and the whole place was very clean.

Absolutely nothing it certainly doesn't disappoint.

The hosts were absolutely fantastic so welcoming and friendly. Never had a better breakfast, the fruit salad was amazing and the choice for breakfast was really varied, everything you could think of for an English breakfast. The room was light, clean and very comfortable. We are really looking forward to going back again and would highly recommend it.
