The lift was out of service....

The room comfy as were the beds. The location is outstanding with three tube lines just across the street. They service the rooms every day.Breakfast is served int heir lovely restaurant and includes fresh fruit and vegetables. Coffee is replenish as much as you want. It was our second time around and we will go again when visiting London.

I have a huge luggage and my room was in 3rd floor. The lift was not working as per the staff so I was worried I am going to take it back and forth. However the staff were very helpful and they helped me carry the luggage to my room and back down when I was about to check out. Thank you.

I love the room although it is smaller than I expected, it was very comfy and clean. Location is very near from tube station so it is accessible to public and can go around tourist spots easily.

What I didn't really like was the fact that the shower head was inside the bathtub and it was high to get into. I believe if it were a person with mobility problems it could be difficult to take a shower.

The room was very large, there was a minibar, kettle, glasses and cups, hairdryer. All these facilities helped our stay to be good. The location is definitely the best part of staying there. It is just a few minutes from the subway, restaurants, pharmacy, cafes and supermarket all on the same street. Access to Hyde Parke and the Natural Museum is very easy to do on foot.

The toilet was hard to flush and we wasted a lot of water trying to get it to flush properly. The bathroom air vent was covered with thick dust and the water smelled like sewer gas a lot.

The hotel staff was amazing! They helped us with our luggage and changed our room to one on the ground level as the lift was broken and we couldn’t use the stairs because of elderly travel companions.

The double rooms are pretty small. Two people can not stand together near the mirror. The hotel can May be provide a little more space for the double rooms. It was smaller than what we expected.

The location is a few seconds to the underground. Nice food and coffee options near by. There’s a salon as well near by. The hotel has an Indian restaurant as well and there’s 15% discount for the guests who stays. Food was good

I could hear people talking in the rooms next to me and their TV was way too loud at midnight. Not the hotels fault , just inconsiderate guests.

The staff were really helpful and moved me to a lower floor as the lift was out of order and I wouldn’t have managed the stairs due a a heart condition.

Unfortunately the lift was out of order which meant having to use the stairs which when on the 4th floor meant that there were actually 8 floors to climb given the layout of the building.. Fine in some ways for me but for more elderly or infirm people would prove extremely difficult. A text or email giving prior warning of the lift issue would be helpful. Staff carried the luggage up and down again on arriving and leaving so thankfully that wasn't left to me to do. A minor detail was that the TV in room 411 was slightly at an angle, not of putting but should be dealt with. Larger shower heads in the shower would help with water flow. But these weren't major issues for me.

Staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel was well situated for the tune and the RAH. I would stay there again.

Great location for Albert hall, museums etc. Plenty of good places to eat very locally and close to Tube. Even though 2 of us booked a twin room , had a triple room albeit downstairs under street level which was fine for the one night stay. But clean and tidy comfortable room, helpful and friendly staff.

I think the gentleman sorting out the faulty light which we didn't know about... might have been better sorting it out after we checked out. Couldn't use the bathroom when we returned to our room after breakfast ,as the electricity was turned off so no lights. We were literally just about to check out.

We were on the 4th floor and the lift was not working. Looking at other reviews this is since early January. We were ok with the walk up 7 flights of stairs but someone older would not have been able to manage it. The other thing that I would have to bring up is the lack of water pressure on the 4th floor at times not much more than a dribble.

Location was great as it was just down the road from Natural History and V&A museums. Also Gloucester Road tube station was just across the road which means you have easy access to the rest of London.
