The only thing I did not like was the bed was very very firm, but catering to many I totally understand you can never get that right

As many say.. Room is a bit on the small side and the double bed could have been slightly bigger. Especially if you're a couple and you like doing a rendition of Riverdance throughout the night. But you'll probably pay a lot more for the privilege just for something bigger and to have 2 X full cooked breakfast (As much as you want) each morning. Not much to complain about. A happy and content customer.

Love the location and quietness. Close to many exploreble fantastic walks and lovely places to see. You can easily spend a fortune on a breakfast and to have this included in the price is great! 10/10 Koi carp ponds & streams run through the grounds between raised hotel walkway and the restaurant. Friendly staff are always a great sign.

I love the location, the buildings, the layout, etc. Breakfast was great! The room was clean, tidy, and had everything in it that you needed. The bathroom was very good. The bed was ok. The view from the room was good. The grounds are lovely .

The bed and pillows were not comfortable but we were so tired we still slept well.

Nestled in a cute little village, the location was perfect for us as we were visiting friends in Maindenhead. We just needed somewhere to rest our heads for the evening so we booked the cosy double. The room was very basic but it had everything we needed including toiletries, TV and tea/coffee. Breakfast was good and there was ample choice. My husband really liked the coffee. We would stay here again but perhaps book a better room but for the low price we paid we aren't really complaining. Price included breakfast and free parking plus there was a free pool table at the bar with a nice lounge to relax in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good place.

Pretty grounds with little ponds and bridges, loved the pool table and comfy sofas. The staff were SUPER lovely and the best part of our stay.

Like everywhere these days the evening food & drink in the bar is overpriced and poor … don’t expect to much and you will not be surprised. Options to eat out in Cookham if you wish but also expensive

Corridor could use a thicker carpet to sound proof. Also doors tend to close with a bang. Needs a little updating. Full English breakfast was great but there was very little in the way of cereal or granola. Maybe it was just poor timing on my part. No breakfast staff around.

The shower was a little stained and the rooms were very compact. Bed was perfect for a single traveler but would have been very small for a couple.

The location was perfect and the meeting area, bar and breakfast areas were excellent. Free coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the meeting areas was a really nice extra.

Having to leave room at 10 am, 11 am is more reasonable to give you a chance to have a relaxing breakfast without having to rush. 9.30 is too early Monday to Friday for breakfast to end too.

Rooms perfectly adequate with everything you need. Not large rooms but big enough for 1 or 2 nights. Great staff. Perhaps more toiletries in room like liquid soap would be good.

Room was a little on the small size so if I'd been staying any longer it might have felt a bit claustrophobic.

Room was great for what I needed. It's small but has all the amenities. Great shower. Breakfast had a fairly good range. cooked breakfast on offer and made to order. I was attending a party at the location so having the room upstairs was perfect. This would be a brilliant venue for a wedding as it has everything there and location was pretty.
