The two extra beds as it meant there wasn't a lot of floor space. Also, we weren't told that the continent breakfast finished early on Sundays

The room was comfortable and clean

I didn’t like that it’s not on a direct bus route and it was hard to get a taxi so I’d advise pre booking taxis. Also I hadn’t realised that the breakfasts weren’t Buffett style on a Sunday morning as normally when we stay away I like the kids to fill up for the journey home however the breakfasts were beautiful that we did have. I also didn’t like that when I went downstairs at only 22.15pm the bar was closed I only went to grab the children some crisps and was told we are closed. I asked if I could just maybe grab a few bags and pay to take them to our room but I was told no and because of the location I wasn’t able to get them from anywhere else.

The reception ladies were absolutely lovely I was travelling with 3 children and they made us feel very welcome as were the cleaning ladies we helped them out and stripped our beds etc the room was spacious and adequate with bath shower kettle etc and tv the bed was very comfy and the children’s too. The bar staff were very pleasant too and I loved the fact it had the soft play for the kids to run around and blow off some steam.

Hotel was having WiFi issues during our stay and nobody available to help the staff resolve the issues. This meant we couldn’t pay with card and had to leave the hotel for cash to then pay for breakfast. This wasn’t ideal with two young children. The beds weren’t the most comfortable and our youngest actually rolled out twice during the night. It felt like you were sleeping on a slope.

Location was good for what we needed. The food in pub was lovely.

Very disappointed with the breakfast now. Coffee now in a hot jug which wasn't hot, poor choice for continental breakfast, there used to be grapefruit and Danish pastries but not now. My daughter had the full English and the mushrooms were in garlic butter, surely unusual first thing in the morning. Also it wasn't mentioned when ordering. Our room was clean but cold and only one set of towels.

    Clean room.

Location. On line you cannot tell it is within a retail park. It looks as though it is in a quiet location.

Good size room, with bath . Easy access to public transport if required .

Beds were not comfortable, some areas of the room starting to look "tired" and particularly noisy floors in the bathroom. Just felt a little tired in general. Holes in the wall from something previously hung/placed.

Friendly staff, well equipped for price, ample parking and decently clean.

Location not brilliant if you want to get around without driving - buses into Selby infrequent and timetable confusing . Whole experience was generally good although rather spoiled on the last morning when no breakfasts were available because one member of staff didn’t arrive on time. Total confusion and nothing ready.

Lovely Bar/Restaurant, friendly staff, good food, good room facilities, free Wi-Fi and good amount of free parking.

Morning breakfast was a disaster tills not working manager not in till 9 but breakfast started at 8 ( Sunday ) short staffed the hotel receptionist was on the bar when we arrived. Needless to say we are now sat in weatherspoons and glad we didn’t book breakfast.

Lovely location, pub and rooms clean bed comfy enough. Evening meal was lovely just a great place to put your head down for a night or 2.

Breakfast was poor, no China cups for tea or coffee despite there being over an hour of service left. Had to use paper cups!!! Toaster had no back so any bread put in it landed on the floor. No croissants had to wait for more to be cooked. Only just enough orange juice for our table ,no more added. We were surprised as we were not the last people into breakfast and there was no attempt to replenish any item that had run out . Public areas need upgrading as they looked very tired. Paintwork scuffed carpets worn. It was a shame as the staff generally were great and we would use it again while visiting family locally.

Location was good, easy to get to. Children's soft play excellent. All children play facilities indoor and outdoor excellent. Staff friendly but new staff would have benefited from more support and training.
