    • Stayed 3 nights

Stayed in room 309 large cracks on the headboard wall, could not watch TV as on the window wall to the left of the bed and fixed to the wall so other than sit on the side of the bed to watch or get a sore neck, Bathroom window handle to close broken so spaces between window and frame stuffed with foam. We had gales, high winds rain so the noise was very loud which also made the bathroom very cold as no heating in the room, also the double glazing has blown so limited view of the sea.

Only met four staff, they were friendly and cheerful, we did not use the dining room for breakfast or dinner but did have a few drinks in the afternoons. The bed was not very comfortable but the linen and Towles were of good quality and clean, the house person did a good job considering what she has to work with.

We stayed for 3 nights and our room was not cleaned once. We asked each morning for the room to be cleaned but was still not done. Tea and coffee were not put in rooms either. We had to keep going downstairs to ask ,when they should of been put in every morning. Heating was not on so had to keep asking for it to go on as rooms were cold in the evening and we had children. Hotel staff were good. Breakfast was also good. Shame as quite a nice hotel if they kept to standard to clean rooms and change towels.

Good lococation and staff were ok.

There’s clearly a lot of damp in the building. The paint was flaking from the walls. There was mould on the windows. The shower was appalling. It took five minutes to heat up (either scalding or cold) and the pressure was non existent. The shower basin itself was full of black bits. The bed was not comfy - it leant to one side.

    The staff were pleasant.

There was a smell in the bathroom which didn’t subside the time we were there. There was a terrible smell in the hallway (smelled like feet or dog) outside our room which was so bad, we had to either hold our noses or breathe through our mouths. Also, the noise was too much from downstairs. We were on the 2nd floor and the karaoke was so loud we could swear it was next door. Our neighbours also had a shouting match with someone outside our door in the middle of the night resulting in 2 hours sleep for me on our first night.

It was a perfect location for us. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom seemed brand new and clean.

7 pounds to park so paid it but if you leave your space you have lost it so someone else pays 7 pounds and it's there's is that even legal . Kids running about in the middle of the night shouting screaming banging on our room door woke us up at 11.30 pm told guy at reception he did not seem bothered. Our window had sea view could not see out it due to condensation everywhere.

Location was great . Next to the sea . Chinese takeaway near buy .

When we arrived we were given two rooms. One was fine. The other hadn’t been cleaned. Got given another room and that one wasn’t clean either. By this point after the long drive up I had enough. They sorted it and gave us another room that was really nice.

    The location and the breakfast.

Basic fare served buffet style so you can have as much of what you like as you please and leave what you don't like. Rooms again basic but satisfactory. What do you expect for £37.50 a head for bed, breakfast and evening meal. Staff are friendly too. Dog friendly at extra charge of £15 a day. Free parking on streets either side of the hotel or £7 a day on hotels limited parking facility.

The lift broke down a couple of times during my stay. The bar area was dead no atmosphere. Hardly anyone used the bar . This surprised me with it being Easter weekend.

The staff were very pleasant. The food is excellent. Location good, with a tram stop outside the hotel . Was able to park for free, on the road next to the hotel. It was very cheap to stop at the hotel.

    • Executive Suite
    • Stayed 2 nights

"The room we paid for was supposed to be an executive suite, but that was not the case. The advertisement stated that it had a living area, which was also not true. Instead, it turned out to be a family room with several beds in it. This was false advertising. Furthermore, the shower was so small that you could not even stand up. You had to sit in the bath to take a shower."

The reception staff were lovely and very understanding.

The room was a bit dated, and Tv wouldn't connect to wifi, so I couldn't use it. Whole two days wifi was on and off in the room. It got very hot at some point too. Sea view we paid for was questionable (side window and had to really put effort to see the beach, I thought I was paying for direct view). We got some tea and coffee provided but not a single spoon or stirrer in the room.

Beds were comfy, the room was clean, and staff downstairs were very friendly. For the price we paid we got what we needed.

Room at the back of the building, no view. No toiletries. No small tumbler for toothbrush ( even disposable plastic ones). Too hot but able to switch off heating in room, couldn't reach window, but thankfully was open.

Location to town/train station. Right beside Prom, great walking if you're interested.
