We needed accommodation in Oxford, with a car space, and Newton House provided it.

There is no breakfast option, although there are cafes a short walk away.

Excellent location and parking. It is possible that the parking spaces will run out. We did not have an issue.

Good located, 10 to 15 minutes walk to city centre, a supermarket near by. The room was good sized and clean.

Although the rooms were very clean, there was an odd smell from the en suite. Had to keep the door closed and the window open.

Great location. Clean and comfortable. Easy access. Great parking.

Lovely clean room within easy walking distance of Oxford centre. Aamir was very helpful, particularly when there was a problem with the extra day we had booked. He sorted everything out with no hassle to ourselves.

We enjoyed our stay! Martyn was lovely and accommodating. The place doesn't have many frills, but it's comfortable, quiet, and meets all needs. Really good for the price. And the walk into Oxford is very easy. Would definitely recommend!

4 Go to Oxford had a lovely weekend on first trip to Oxford on return would book Newton house again.

Our bathroom was a little snug, however a small shelf for a make up bag would have been appreciated. Also individual packets of morning biscuits on the tea/coffee tray would have been appreciated to go with first cup of the day as there is no breakfast room. We did have breakfast everyday of our stay, in the Paperboat cafe on the Folly bridge which is on the walk into town. Sat outside on a sunny morning and inside on windy day. Perfect location and lovely choice of food.

Location, although not in the town centre is a very pleasant 10 mins walk in, there are many busses frequently passing the route should you prefer. House was very quiet, both from a residence point of view and insulation, we had no traffic noise in our front of house room. Our Rooms were very clean with service options each day.

As we were at the front of the house, our windows opened onto the street which sometimes meant it was noisy if we wanted to open them. This was, however, not a big issue and we slept well regardless.

Newton House was within a short distance from the centre of Oxford and it was an easy, straight walk of average 20 mins to get to all of the main points of interest. The rooms were quite modern and very clean and comfortable. Communication with staff was very efficient and accommodating, even allowing us to store our bags in the house outside of check in times.

Check-in was not smooth. We had made a date change, which was confirmed a few days prior. This caused some confusion at the check-in desk and resulted in a lengthy check-in process.

Newton House is very conveniently located for those who want to explore Oxford by foot. We loved the location. The bed was comfortable and, when closed, the windows blocked out the street noise. Newton House was a good choice for us.

No breakfast, as far as I could tell. The car parking is on a first-come-first-served basis. If I had a car on this occasion, I would not have found a free space when I arrived.

The location is excellent, within relatively easy walking distance of the centre of Oxford. The price was reasonable, considering the location. The room was large and comfortable.

    TV reception.

Very friendly reception. Room spotlessly clean with all facilities as advertised and very comfortable bed. Very quiet at night. TV reception wasn't the best but as we weren't staying long it didn't really bother us. 10 - 15 minute walk into the city centre and also a bus every ten minutes.

Our room was at the top and there wasn’t good circulation, which meant the room would get quite stuffy when we came back in the afternoon

We liked the cleanliness, the location and the simplicity of coming and going as we pleased

The location was well situated to walk or get the bus into Oxford city centre. The Bed was very comfy and the room was very quiet with the room being situated at the back of the property. The en-suite bathroom was compact but made up for with the shower system. We had no problem with the car parking system at the rear of the property and was always able to secure a parking slot for the evening. when visiting Oxford again we would choose this place again.
