Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

We stayed here for the weekend and absolutely loved it! Excellent communication with the owners before during and after our stay. Everyone was super friendly including their 3 beautiful doggies! Our accommodation was really clean, lovely little touches and necessities already there. Already looking to go back hopefully with some sun and enjoy their beautiful garden area!

United KingdomThe accomodation was extremely clean and comfortable, and there are a variety available to stay in, from solo traveller to a family size apartment. The owner Juliet sent some brilliant directions the morning we were due to travel, and made us feel very welcome once we arrived. The views from our porch were amazing , we were able to see the mountains every morning when we woke. Juliet was more than happy to give us some great recommendations for things to do (even though the weather was terrible due to storm Isha, we still found plenty to do) and there are alot of walks and spectacular views of waterfalls just a short drive away.

United KingdomEverything was perfect.
I loved the vibe of these lodges. They were ideally situated, not too hard to find and the view I woke to in the morning was stunning! The hosts were fantastic and communicated well with me on the day of my arrival. They welcomed me and were extremely helpful and warm. The lodge was cosy, and warm and had everything you could need. I loved the cottagey details and simplicity. Absolutely will be staying here on my next trip.

United KingdomIt honestly had all we needed and more!
Cleanliness, space, character, facilities, warmth and location. It was perfect for a weekend away with a large group of family and friends (11 of us.) We stayed in the two lodges and one of the huts. The grounds are lovely and we were really comfortable during our short stay. A short drive away from Zip-World, Snowdon and exploring the beautiful local area.

United KingdomHusband and I needed some time off to unwind and just relax and be with nature. Then I found this online which has everything we wanted. It is strategically located and Juliet is a perfect host. Very quick to reply even when I asked her where I can find some laver bread for our friend who requested this Wales’ delicacy. We had the best sleep and to wake up to wonderful views each morning was a bonus. Highly recommended and I have already informed friends of our next trip and where we will be staying. Thank you Juliet and Orme View lodge

United KingdomI liked everything.
It’s such a cozy hut (Puffin). There were all the necessary things for living (for instance, hobs, kettle, toaster, fridge, cutlery, cooking utensils and plates). There are a lot of grocery shops In Bangor (Asda, Lidl, etc.) Also there was a heating radiator so it was warm and cozy. The tap water pressure is excellent. The bed was big and comfortable. Nearby the hut there's a barbecue and relaxation area (hammocks, swings, armchairs). If you don’t have a car that can be reached to Bangor on foot (approx. 50 min) or take the bus, the bus stop is a 10-minute walk from the hut. Buses run on schedule, sometimes they may be late, you should check the information in Google. We easily reached Aber Fall and Snowdon by local buses. There was Wi-Fi in the hut, but we didn't use it, so I can't say exactly how it works. It would be nice if you can rent a bike. I liked the Puffing hut and nature of Wales. I’ll definitely book this hut next time and highly recommend.

The accommodation was lovely, cosy with just what we needed. The views were superb and the grounds and facilities were great. Loved the swing chairs and hammocks. The lawns were so luscious and well kept. Good parking facility. Will definitely recommend to friends. If my family cannot put us up I would definitely see if there was availability. Enjoyed the dawn chorus, especially from the Robin in the palm tree and the squirrel who was very busy! 😊
