The hotel is a little 'tired', the communal (no problems with our bedroom) area on the top floor had not been hoovered and other was clean bedding stacked along the corridor.

Great location close to the seafront and park. Plenty of parking and nice grounds grounds. Big room with ensuite and comfortable bed.

Fantastic staff. Very friendly and helpful. Hotel great location. We were upgraded to a sea view room ( room 24) which was fantastic. Gardens are beautiful. Loads of free parking. Breakfast was OK. For £10 each, I would have liked better quality products, but it did a job! The hotel could do with an upgrade as quite worn out, and room furniture was quite outdated. Having said that, the bathroom was nice with a great shower. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quite cold and although we switched the radiator on it didn't come on!! With the great price, staff, gardens, and location, I would still highly recommend it.

Shower room was really quite small, though still adequate.

The room was really spacious with a sea view. and a very comfortable king size bed. We arrived a little earlier than expected but were able to sit in the lounge where tea/coffee was available. Breakfast was good and staff were polite and helpful.

We were very happy with everything

The hotel is in a lovely location with a beautiful garden and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff were exceptional, very welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our stay was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent and we would certainly stay there again.

Only negative is the bar could do with a little more choice and the building and interior needs a lick of paint.

The location and the grounds are stunning. The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely breakfast and very welcoming of our dog who definitely enjoyed his stay (especially the sausages at breakfast time).

"Only small constructive feedback " Housekeeping small areas attention to detail in cleaning in rooms, and things noticed in public walk along corridor that didn't change in our stay which was a bit off putting when going down. Would prefer to send constructive feedback notes to Hotel personally than on public site. As loved stay location etc so much.

Location very good for local amenities shops eateries beach. Dog friendly. Particularly loved the Hotel grounds with walk down through gardens into other public gardens to town & beach. Amazing countryside sightseeing places within 17 miles drive. Staff natural friendly helpful . good room tea coffee replenishments. Pool Leisure area a bonus with good facilities.

The level of cleaning could improve. The slated blinds need cleaning and removal of cobwebs should be undertaken. There was a vast amount of them on the windows behind the blinds- sitting by one waiting for breakfast, I cleaned one away. It let the hotel down.

Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had our dog and they made him extremely welcome which made our stay even better. Breakfast was excellent. Room was good and comfortable.

Was emailed to say i could check in between 1 & 2, got there at 1 and was told i couldn't check in till 2, so we had to wait around for an hour.

Staff didn't explain the soup course during dinner. We assumed it was an automatic course but when we didn't receive it and asked about it, the staff member said we should've ordered it.

Free parking and great location in Minehead - 5-10mins walk to the high street (or in the other direction, the beach). Easy check-in/out. Rooms are a little dated but still good. Decent breakfast (£10). Swimming pool. On site bar.

No shampoo in the pool showers.

Old local hotel with the view of sea. Big windows, warm and cosy. The fact that we could have our little dog with us duribg our stay was extremely helpful. The swimming pool and the steam room were nice and clean. Restaurant and bar was good. Kind staff, very helpful . Very big garden, extremely beautiful. I definitely recommend this hotel and will go there again.

Staff were friendly and attentive and remembered us from previous visits. Leisure facilities are a great bonus at this hotel. Comfortable clean rooms, great breakfast options and nice lounge areas to relax in during the day and evenings.

The room was a little bit hot and we were unable to adjust it internally but we did have access to windows to open so it wouldn’t prevent me staying again.

Staff were all really friendly and accommodating. The view from the room was lovey and the garden/grounds around the building were all really well kept. Fast service at breakfast.
