Didn’t like the separate toilet and bathroom facilities. Final point was that the hotel is 8 miles away from Bury (Home of Black Pudding) but this is not on the breakfast menu.

Location was ideal. Staff were friendly and when asked for a larger quantity of pillows this seemed to be no issue. Room was large enough and very comfortable

Reception area clean and welcoming room was large with seating and queen size bed was so comfortable. The soundproofing works 100% in the centre of Manchester and couldn’t hear a thing 😊. Breakfast buffet style also very good quality with extensive range to choose from from

Bedroom had separate toilet from bathroom. This toilet was small and a bit cramped. No sink.

The room cleaning varied from day to day from perfection to just a little cleaning on the sheets And the shower cap was leaking

The hotel is located in the center or a 5 - 10 min walk from the cathedral, right next to Chinatown and Oxford street station which is great when coming from the airport. The staff was great, very helpful. A great bar down in the lobby

Shower was poor, bath unusable as no plug Rubbish under the bed including a balloon from previous occupants

Sometimes some of the breakfast options finished quicky and staff did not keep up with refilling up. The coffee machine had issues when we were there. Sometimes a long line at the checkin desk for the breakfast.

Beautiful, classy hotel in a great location in Manchester. The junior suite was great. Breakfast was according to expectations. The hotel bar was excellent and staff very helpful.

Spare pillows had been used for the put me up beds for our two children, so no spares in the wardrobe as there usually would be, so we (parents) only had 1 pillow each and we like 2, easily rectified by asking at reception. No bottled water in the room, I'm sure they used to supply them, but I might be wrong. Mattress was too hard for our liking, although ours at home is a firm this was much harder, ached all over in the morning, but this is a preference to be fair.

Stayed here on numerous occassions. Ideal location for us personally. Room isn't big for a family of four, but is fine for a 1 or 2 night stay. Clean as always. The staff were very friendly and accomodating as usual. A vast and tasty choice for breakfast to suit all ages.

The vents in the bathroom & toilet didn’t appear to be working - reception informed us the were on a centralised system & only worked at certain times - although they couldn’t say what times … 🤔

The room was modern & well furnished. The fridge in the room was a particularly welcome addition. Breakfast was the best we’ve had for a very long time & well worth the price paid.

At the reception the staff were very helpful specially Dominic was very helpful in briefing us with the many manchester attractions to attain and guide us to take different way to reach there. Many thanks for Dominic. The buffet food was piping hot and good. Me and my family enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend it. 👌👍

Everything is great, except for the telephone which is really dirty.

It’s close to China Town with lots of great restaurants, and it’s quite close to Metrolink station which is around 10 mins walk

The heat , the rooms and hotel extremely warm making it quite uncomfortable. The central heating/air conditioning very poor had it on the lowest setting and was very weak . Couldn't open window as very noisy due to central location . Soft furnishings in room could do with cleaning , stained and dirty .

It was just very average! Felt underwhelmed about our room, the bathroom had no lid to the toilet! the shower was cold & leaked. The room had a disabled access bathroom this was not what we booked. Glad we was only staying one night.
