눉Joanna, manager. After being over booked at our previous location we decided to stay here, When we arrived we had a cold welcome from the manager Joanne who barely acknowledged us. The restaurant was packed and there was utter chaos. The place was run that night by Joanne, her son and husband? She informed us that they do not promote the rooms and made us feel our late booking was a hindrance to her. Despite this we were so tired and hungry we had to stay. After a shower we went down for food and again was met by the rude Joanne and instantly confronted by her accusing us of showing with the door open which caused her to have a shower. 1,. A bit of overkill for dripping water, 2. Who showers with the door open, certainly not us. My partner is an electrician and he had static shock from the shower so there is clearly a loose connection and the seal needs to be secured, both concerns that are not our problem. Upon check out we had a completely different experience from Demitras, the breakfast was stunning and his warm welcome was appreciated. The evening meal at their in house Italian was also highly rated. It was a shame the whole experience was let down by Joanna and her family which will prevent us from staying again.

눉The b&b also run an italian resturant underneath the bedrooms, unfortunately we were given a room that had an extremely noisy extractor outside of the bedroom window. The room was very noisy and very hot and the extractor could be heard with or without the window open. No phone in the room to call reception so I used my own mobile to call reception and asked for a fan, where I was told that they were really busy but would see what they could do. The heat and noise was unbareable and all we wanted to do was sleep so we took ourselves down to reception and asked to speak to the manager, very helpful and she gave us another room but this was a twin. Half solved our problem however if you are booking this b&b please be aware that the resturant customers are put before the paying staying guests. They also ask for payment in full upfront. Maybe this is so you feel obliged to stay.
