Parking not the easiest but we got parked. (On the plus it’s by the hotel and secure) it’s only because people drive giant cars now

    Beautiful, cosy great location

there wasn't anything that we did not like. The whole experience was brilliant. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, very helpful.

Breakfast was lovely as I was expecting- British/English- loved it. Location was superb, in the hear of the beautiful village, walking distance to every sightseeing we needed, Motor Museum could see from our room's window (river view), Mini village, Birdland, Dragonfly maze..... Lots of restaurants we have great yummy dinner. Also, had an afternoon tea with amazing scones that were melting in my mouth.. Very recommend and definitely will come back in the summer!!!

Room needed a few things doing in the bathroom, painting etc. Room was opposite the pub over the road and was loud throughout the night with people leaving drunk.

Staff were really friendly and location was amazing. Free parking was a good addition as not much other parking close by.

The shower - needs an upgrade. Food - Prawn cocktail starter far too much sauce & very few prawns. Main - sirloin steak - very sinewy. Chips not hot.

Staff were very accommodating. Room was fine. Good housekeeping standards.

My only thought would be a bedroom update.

I had a lovely stay. My room was nice but could do with updating. Very convenient at the top of the stairs. Staff were all lovely! Breakfast was really good. The location was perfect - right in the middle of the village. I would certainly stay here again. The bar were amazing when my family of 11 descended on them for dinner.

Wasn’t that I didn’t like it but The bar area itself is a little small if you want to sit at a table people were walking in and out again because they were all taken , which I guess is good in a way .. but obviously nothing can be done about that it’s the shape of the building .

Obviously the location is the best !! the hotel it’s self is charming & filled with character to date , from the wonky creaky floors to the little date etching we had on our pane of glass , the bed is huge comfortable & the bathroom is of a decent size .. the room was actually rather hot considering the weather it rained non stop and was pretty windy we actually slept with both windows open but again for me that was pretty perfect, listening to the river , the rain and the birds , PERFECT !!! , it was just perfect ..the large fire place is beautiful down in the Bar Area , the dining area is large with beautiful single glazed glass doors / windows onto the patio at the back & the front seating area is on the river , so I imagine on a summers day it’s amazing.. it’s just very charming .

Bathroom was a bit dated, was still clean though. One of the staff at breakfast was a bit snappy with some of the guests.

We had lunch here before check in. The choice of food was really good. The woman at check in was very enthusiastic. The bed was very comfy and we slept well. We had a drink on the evening and the bar staff and beers were both good. The breakfast was nice and was the right size portion.

The wines in the restaurant were very poor. About average prices for a restaurant but not worth it for the quality. Disappointed.
