We all had very little sleep the first night as other guests congretated directly outside our rooms (ground floor apartment) for a cigarette a number of times between midnight and 3 am. I put pre booking on my card but we were unable to use this for the sports bar, Oties or for the drinks we had in the restaurant. I had pre booked the restaurant but this had not registered for some reason and it took some time to get this sorted out.

The apartment was very nice and had everything we needed. Food in the Sports bar and the restaurant was very nice and child friendly. The spa treatments were excellent and the kids enjoyed the pool/

Too hot. The air con in the apartment isn’t enough to cool it down. Not sure I’d stay in the summer.

Apartments could be a little cosier, they are basically decorated so not particularly homely. Other than that, very happy.

We stayed in a 2 bed apartment overlooking the golf course- really spacious, great kitchen and large fridge, very comfortable beds, light and airy with great views. Easy close parking, lift access - brilliant choice!

The receptionist Oliver was extremely helpful when booking.com had made an error in our booking He went above and beyond to explain everything and make sure that werent charged twice He was respectful and kind and very knowledgeable and also gave us some free vouchers so not to mar the experience

Cover from Back of tv remote was missing. Curtain rail was broken, buttons on shower didn’t correspond with function and there were piles of dust under the bed

Spacious, well appointed. View over the golf course was superb. Hotel is clean and well kept. Facilities on site are great as are the restaurants, bars, cafe, gym and pool.

Cocktail bar failed to open on time so we were unable to get a cocktail before dinner & waited 20 mins in the restaurant for dinner before anyone came to take a drinks order.

I had previously contacted the hotel to see if any special arrangements could be made as it was husband’s 40th birthday, to which I received a swift response saying that they would see what they could do. I was disappointed by what we did receive which was 4 celebration chocolates and a generic card. Whilst I understand nothing needed to be done, I would have hoped for a little more of an effort considering the price of the stay. Also we were at the hotel for breakfast and dinner. Whilst the quality of breakfast was good I do think it was very pricey at £30 a couple. The evening meal was very disappointing. My husbands soup was served cold, my main was missing ingredients and the dessert was grainy and poor quality (custard tart) the waitress did remove the desserts off the bill which was appreciated but considering how much the main meal alone was costing, I do not feel it was very good value at all. Also the dining room was not very atmospheric for an evening meal. It has all these lovely large diffused lights but instead all the bright spot lights were on meaning any atmosphere was just removed and didn’t feel special at all.

Quality of breakfast was nice and decor for breakfast dining was nice. Decor of the hotel was eclectic annd interesting and facilities available like the gym were excelled. Apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. It had all essential items including with in the kitchen. Staff especially at the gym were very helpful and pleasant. Contact with hotel was always swift and helpful and I couldn’t fault the staff, they were very attentive.

The selection of wines was limited. The Sports bar was at times understaffed and the wait times were longer then they should have been. The team did their best but it was clear they were at least one person short.

The Food was exceptional, the facilities in the gym were of a good standard and the staff were very helpful.

Would have loved to eat in the restaurant but there was a wedding/Christmas party on that weekend so it was not available

It was amazing! I went with my then girlfriend who is now my fiancée, the staff went above and beyond to make it a special event for both of us, the room was set up for the big question and she loved every second of it, thanks to all involved

Staff were rude and came across at times quite uptight and rude. I asked a waiter at breakfast if he could check what was celiac friendly and he acted like I completely inconvenienced him and didn’t even tell me he was checking so I was stod like a lemon not sure what was happening. Rooms are not worth the price in my opinion at all, I’ve been other health clubs for cheaper with better rooms. The beds are horridly uncomfortable I left with a bad back and it’s just basic, go to a travel lodge for same room standard but better beds in my opinion!

The pillows are tired and knackered. Room gets warm but there is a fan in the room. Price of food is ok but some would understandably find it on the expensive side.

This place has so many features you'll not want to leave the premises. Spa, health, wellness, bar, restaurants, afternoon tea, golf, waffle shop. So much to try and do with excellent knowledgeable staff
