Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It was easy to park, clean, easy to check out . Breakfast had Greek yogurt and seeds so for me was decent . Coffee was bean to cup machine . Server was studying computer science and was great and friendly .

United KingdomI found a bit of hair on the chair in the bedroom room 217. When queuing for breakfast, the lady at the reception told me that our breakfast was cancelled. Asked me 3 times to confirm my room number. The supervisor came to apologise as it was their mistake. It didn't not go down well with me . I felt very embarrassed and disrespected. We had booked 3 rooms with breakfast, as a family this nearly spoiled our stay.
Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and nice and hot.

United KingdomNothing much, prices at bar are a tad expensive, and location is tricky to find just from postcode. Parking was not easy due to the amount of delegates attending the conference, if we only turned up for the day, not sure we would have found a space.
Clean comfortable room, with good facilities. Very helpful staff and lovely breakfast with plenty of choice. Helpful to have onsite parking, although not many spaces by the time we arrived around 5.30pm.

United KingdomBeing charged £60 per night for our two dogs. There were no treats, bowls or beds left in the room for our boys. Which is in stark contrast to a hotel we stayed in the previous night. We weren't charged for our dogs and two bowls full of homemade treats were provided along with dog beds. Think Orchard Hotel need to look at their charges and how they justify charging such exorbitant rates. We won't be staying there again.
The hotel is in a really good location and Nottingham is easily accessible. As the hotel is in the grounds of Nottingham University there are plenty of walks to do with the dogs
