Loved the fact hotel was deep in countryside, local pub, get for walks, even provide welly’s In case you forgot yours, just felt everything had been thought about. Hotel was very clean. Room service was provided twice a day, brilliant spa, well recommend the candle wax massage.

Our room (20) could have been better laid out. In particular there was no suitable table or space for the tea tray or to boil a kettle. The spa was lovely, but we were a little disappointed that the saunas and steam rooms were within the male and female changing areas. This meant that we were unable to enjoy these facilities together as a couple. My dinner main course was served lukewarm, but this was quickly rectified when we complained. Otherwise everything was excellent.

Beautiful hotel in a lovely location with very helpful and attentive staff. We loved the spa, the delicious meals, the gardens. Excellent massage treatment at the spa. All very well maintained to a high standard. It felt like a luxury experience. We would certainly visit again.

Breakfast was not good. Scrambled eggs solid not freshly cooked or overcooked, bacon and sausage undercooked unexpected as everything else was really good

You may need a new chef for the quality was not great! Some dishes were great but some inadequate, poor even!

Bedroom too hot. Decoration of room and furniture quite dated. Lots of wasps in the restaurant and around the breakfast buffet. Restaurant at night feels like casual dining atmosphere trying to be fine dining food.

Everything about it was ideal for a few days complete relaxation. The staff in particular were all excellent making us feel very welcome and at home. They catered for any special needs particularly well.

Our room was very hot during the night and slightly noisy in the morning with the windows open, btu the staff were very helpful and moved us into a lovely room for our second night.

We had a lovely time but if I was being picky the breakfast maybe could have offered more, perhaps more chopped fruit or pastries. The cooked breakfast was still delicious.

The Hotel was set in very pretty, well kept grounds with great sports facilities (option to play tennis, bowls, croquet) The staff were very professional and friendly. The pool and spa facilities were fantastic and super relaxing!!!
