The over bath shower could have been more powerful but it provided instant hot water ideal for showering. The kitchen provided a good array of utensils but we did struggle with baking trays and had to wash any thing required before use.

Whilst we didn’t meet any staff (this wasn’t necessary) their communication was excellent. Contactable by SMS with an immediate response. The property was easily located using the instructions provided. The 3 bedrooms were of good size, each with a double bed and plentiful bedding, pillows and towels. The bathroom was of reasonable size with an electric over bath shower. The property was a good base to explore all the parts of Yorkshire we intended, travelling by car to the Yorkshire Dales, Hull, York and Whitby.

The bedroom window is not double glazed that you can hear the traffic outside but it's only a small village so the road is not so busy.

We have been accommodated in a 3 bedroom flat with own kitchen a few miles from the guest house. The rooms are in good size, bed are comfy and each room has a it's own smart tele. The kitchen is fully equipped including a fridge with generous amount of food. Most of all the most important thing , it's very clean and the communication with the owner is very good.

As it isn't located in the guest house, no cooked breakfast is ready in the morning. However, some ingredients like eggs, bread, juice, cereal and milk are in the kitchen and you can cook a hot meal yourselves. The other down side of the apartment is the bathroom. It is hard to open the door to get out. One more thing is that the water pressure of the boiler is sometimes too low for the water or heating to be on. You will need to turn the knobs on the bottom of the boiler to get it started. this is not too bad if you have that in mind and check it sometimes.

We were put to an apartment in Snaith instead. There's a lot of room and it's very clean. Besides, Zoe, who is probably the owner, is very helpful and pleasant.

Exceptionally good value for money for a clean room with comfy bed and nice bathroom for a one night stay. No time restraints on breakfast as it was help yourself buffet. Also had a full kitchen for guests.

It just worked very well for us. Nothing to dislike.

Items were left for us to have breakfast. These were fine, we did augment them but that was by choice and due to two of our family members there being vegan. We were there in order to go to and from a wedding and as three adult couples (parents and grown up kids with spouses) the annexe was perfect.

Finding out the day before that the annexe was not sited at the guest house in Pollington. Fortunately for us Snaith was an ideal base for us and it worked out a positive arrangement. It did however, make us ponder what we would do if that was not the case.

We booked the annexe but this is not adjacent to the guest house. It is an upstairs flat in a neighbouring small town. This meant we had our own space, access to local shops and amenities including cafes and pubs. The owner was brilliant even after there was a small breakage to a low table.

Cleaning materials for bathroom would have been nice. e.g. cleaning spray and cloths.

Breakfast facilities were excellent. Good variety of food and drink catering for all tastes.
