Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

UkraineIn the morning at 5:45 a.m. I was woken up by the knocking of the working entrance door right next to the room and the cries of the cleaning staff.
Clean bed, tea, coffee and cookies ... and that's probably all that can be specified .

United KingdomThere were stains on the carpet in the room. You could not watch TV from the sofa due to its position which was not moveable.
Great location for what we wanted which was an appointment at St Georges hospital. It was quiet and we had a nice outlook.

United KingdomThe exterior of the Pelican unfortunately looks like an old 1970's tower block of flats, which does not represent the interior of the hotel - modern & welcoming. Great view of the cemetery! :)
Perfect location for St George's Hospital. A 5 minute walk to main entrance of the hospital. I had an early appointment in hospital so for ease, chose to check-in the night before. The room was small, but clean, modern. Tea/Coffee making facilities inside room but if you wanted a cappuccino, outside in reception was a small Costa facility where you pay. No breakfast facilities but lots of eateries within walking distance of hotel.

FranceHotel is right next to hospital from one side and cemetery from the other, located in a kind of council type of housing with some flat blocks. Not an issue for me, just highlighting in case this is important for someone.
The hotel meets all the major nasics, it is clean, comfortable, quiet and reasonably close to the tube.

United KingdomNothing not to like.
the room was rather small, but it was clean and adequate for our needs. we were visiting Grandaughter who is a medical student at St Georges, so the location was very good. We visited Tooting and Broadway markets and it was like being on holiday in India or North Africa. the food stalls and the people were fantastic. Almost like living in Singapore, where we have lived before. The locals are particularly kind and helpful and friendly.

United KingdomNo restaurant, definitely needs a restaurant for breakfast, so no breakfast option for traveller's and guests alike. No lunch, no dinner. Happy there was a simple coffee machine at the bar. But definitely needs food to be served there!

United Arab EmiratesOne of the receptionists cold behaviour. No “hello” “hi” while checking in. I stood right in front of her and she didn’t bother to say hello. I had to initiate the talk and get myself checked in. For the rest of the days as well, her behaviour was cold. Maybe she isn’t wired to be at the reception table. Other staffs were very helpful and warm.

United KingdomThe first receptionist I met on arrival was lovely. However, after that, they were a little short on smiles and helpfulness. Considering the proximity of the hotel to the hospital, I would expect a degree of flexibility. I was staying there due to my Sister having brain surgery at the hospital. I booked 3 nights, but when I asked of the possibility to extend it an extra night, it seemed to be a problem. I was told I'd have to pay £118.00 and look online and see if there was a room available. Luckily, I didn't need it in the end because my Sister was discharged.
The Housekeeping was fantastic. When I reported being cold the first night, they looked at my heating and put an extra quilt on the bed.
